The Cape Club of Palm City

A few tee boxes were heavily sanded. Not a great amount of drinking water available on course. They provide 1 free bottle per player. Love the track but not for sprayers, tight in spots

The Fox Club is one of my favorite golf courses in the area. The course is challenging but fair. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

The course is in great shape with the exception of several of the tee boxes which where in very rough condition!

I’d still recommend this course as they also seem to addressing the issue with the tee boxes.

For years coming down to Florida meant playing one of my favs, the Wanamaker. Too many members and ridiculous fees have pushed us in other directions. Love this course and it’s design, may have a new favorite. Conditions were great with the exception of sanded greens. I can’t wait to play on clean greens. If you want to see where your game is play this course it is a tough go, but what a great challenge. Wonderful staff and the restaurant makes for a good 19th hole.

The Fox Club layout was interesting, you play in one direction for the first several holes (downwind today), then return for several holes (into the wind today). Fun going out, not so much coming back.

The fairways were semi lush this winter, different then the other courses I have played on the Treasure Course this winter.

The par 3s were not short, but not too long either. I would return to this course.

I paid for a round of four in advance when two of my Golf friends got there early they charged him but I had already paid through Golf Now don’t know how the screwup happened They finally cleared it up by the end of the round and refunded my friends the money very embarrassing what’s the point of having Golf Now if they can’t take such a small thingNot happy Golf pass Member

Great course. Greens were top dressed and hard to put. Bathrooms on course were hard to find and water coolers were non-existent. Bathrooms were locked with porta potty handy.(gross) Clubhouse is outstanding and food and service was outstanding. Move this to the top of your playing list.

A former private course now semi private with reasonable fees. Nice practice facility but balls no longer included for range. Very nice club house and lounge area. They are trying to build membership so lets hope they stay semi private. They have a great variety of tees including combos for any player. Give it a try.

Many carries over marsh, water but if you listen to staff and pick the correct tees, will make for a fair, challenging day of golf.

I really love the great layout but there are some things that need improvement around the courses such as

Tee boxes

Trash receptacles

Ball washers

Beverage cart

Rangers

More handicap parking spaces near the bag drop

A course guide book or a scorecard with the snapshot of the holes would be very helpful

Finally it’s hard to figure out the pin placements with the same color flag

Even without these I will continue to play there once a week because the course is challenging for any skill level

Good selection of tee boxes Very tight elevated greens well trapped.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I played as a single, got there before 7 and had a 740 tee time. The starter gave me the option of being first out but did advise me I would be running into groundskeepers on some holes. When I did see them on some holes they were very accommodating by backing away. The greens were well maintained and relatively fast. The only minor knock would be the lack of good sand in the bunkers which they said will be addressed in the off season and one tee box that needs some work. I look forward to playing here again.

Country-Club style course. Challenging but very attainable. Beautifully laid out and fast greens. Great deals offered, too. Highly recommend playing this course.

This used to be a private course - I feel for those who got suckered in when it was. First off, this course is almost right on top of I-95 so it is loud. Really loud. On several holes. You should definitely use your outdoor voice if you want to be heard by others.

Secondly, it seemed as if most if not all of the maintenance staff was on a really long vacation. Tee boxes were brutal - some had so much mix on them it was like hitting out of a bunker, some were bare. The fairways were bare in spots, weed-choked in others, the overgrowth was so thick and not kept under control that it was impossible to see over it to the proper fairway landing spots, the range was on the lookout for anything resembling grass, etc. The course had the look of one that was just hanging on until the end and making a few bucks along the way.

Next, let's talk about the starters and rangers. There were none. This allowed a foursome who had two holes open in front of them to back up a father/son duo where dad thought it was fine to let son take three practice swings and then take PGA level time "concentrating" on the shot who then backed up a twosome who then backed up two foursomes who figured out that beer was cheaper if you bought it 24 cans at time.

Don't even ask about putting - it may make me cry.

Finally, the layout. Remember 20 or so years ago when those who were private club members thought was chic to belong to "toughest" private course? That's what they tried to do with this one. Water hazards where they should not be, ridiculous routing, and the like. Too cute by half.

As were were leaving, we overheard one of the staff telling a prospective guest that this and The Florida Club were two of the nicest munis in the area. They were half right.

The Florida Club is wonderful.

The greens are beautiful. Very tight layout with plenty of trouble but a blast to play!
