Crane Watch Club

Crane Watch is under new management, now, golf course has been greatly improved over the last 12-18 months. Hopefully CRANCE WATCH-understands they have alot of work to continue to improve, they’re moving in the right direction..

The course was in decent condition at a good rate. The weather was beautiful, and even though we waited on every hole, we played in under 4 hours.

Nice golf track for the value. I would recommend friends/other golfers to this course.

Picked this round up on a hot deal and seem to forget why I shouldn't play here. Arrived early and got off as a solo. Greens are terrible (like always). Course wasn't crowded which say a lot. Please don't waste your money on this course - pay more to play a better track

Golf track, many updates under construction.

The staff at the golf course were very friendly however, from the first shot, it was obvious that the course fairways were in mediocre condition. The tease were in poor condition and rarely mowed. The greens were adequate with some greens and very poor condition around the edges.

Also, this is a tight classic Florida golf course so playing from the back or regular teas requires accuracy that most golfers over a 10 handicap will struggle with. Most holes have OB on one side and water on the other so if you do play, I would suggest iron off of a lot of the teas. Also where pools 12 and 16 meat is a dangerous spot so keep your head up for the tea shots coming in on 16.

There are many other Florida golf courses for the same cost in better shape or the same shape for much less cost

I have played Crane Watch in prior years and had a decent expeience. I played last week, and it was terrible., Almost all of the tee boxes were moved forward 50-100 yards do to repair work. Large areas of the fairways were ropded off due to course maintence. Bottow line is that that should have warned us prior to teeing off what the course condition was. At the end of the round, I asked for some sort of green fee discount or refund and the staff member said bluntly "no"

The course was great paired up with another team made it better. The conditions were poor but understandable . This time of year the course pros are gearing up for winter season. That means you need to expect some conditions you’re not accustomed to seeing in a course this nice. Driving range was great the golf carts were older but fine, kinda nice not having the gps control your throttle for you. Over all I would go back again . Maybe give it a few weeks to heal from construction . The club house food was awesome . Overall I would recommend .

Tee boxes mostly under repair. Many tees moved forward, some back. 18th green is the size of a toothpick right now. But for $37 it’s worth the price. Finished 18 in 1:55 as a single when playing around 12:30pm

They should close the golf course during Construction

There is no reason why this course is open...

To start with I have been to CW many times and realize that the current conditions aren't up to their standards, which is fine. This course always prides itself on the conditions of the course. That being said I couldn't have had a better, comforting day and it was the result of a caring staff, which includes the workers who made sure they weren't interfering with a golfer's play, and of course the COURSE itself. I was a little nervous about taking a ride down (an Hr. & 1/2) after reading the newsletters and some reviews, and the person on the phone who mentioned that "the greens were still a work in progress". He only stated a fact but had nothing to be apologetic about. I found the course in fine shape and the greens were no trouble at all. There have been times on busier days early in the year when I showed up as a single and had to pair up and wait for my appropriate tee time. This time I was given my own cart, told to go out early and enjoy myself. I can't begin to tell you what that did for my state of mind. My wife is fighting lung cancer so when the time presents itself I need to go out, by myself, and enjoy a peaceful round of golf which the course and staff were generously able to give me. In the end I know that this course prides itself on it's course and staff being customer friendly and they have done themselves proud. Go out and enjoy a fun day run by terrific people at a reduced price. You'll never regret it!

No water to drink on the course until you walk off the 12 th green. Guy with the spray truck around on and off the whole round spraying the cancer everywhere that I could actually taste it in my mouth. But at least he had a good mask on. And to top it off a very dangerous bridge to go over with a big hole in it. At the very least should have had a traffic cone over it. I stuck a branch in it to make sure people would be careful.
