The Champions Club at Summerfield is an 18-hole championship course ingeniously routed through a briny wetland three miles from the Atlantic. This Tom Fazio design meanders through natural marshes and vegetation. Its 6,800 yards from the tips and each hole features multiple tees for players of all skill level.

Summerfield has received a commendation from the Audubon Society. You will encounter plenty of birds and wild life at this environmentally sensitive course.

Wet & slow

Very nice course but due to heavy rain it was cart path only. Unfortunately the 2 foursomes in front of me ( I played solo) made no effort or offer to let me play through. A course ranger would have helped but there was none.

The greens were awesome but the rest of the course was saturated no grass in the fairways they should've waited another week until they opened it

Unfortunayely we have had 16 inches of rain in the past 30 days, Including a hurricane.The course is drying up nicely and presently there is no standing water and no golf cart restrictions. Greens are fantastic.

Considering reopening after a hurricane, the course was in pretty good shape. Several places of standing water, but drainage was decent. We were at cart-path only conditions. All in all, I would still recommend!

This review will be a first. Overall I’ve played here many times. The range, putting green and chipping green are well cared for. I must say I was disappointed that only the back nine was open. The course was not too damp until it started to rain during the round lol. Over all this course is a good value for the money

Golf course maintenance in progress.

Well of course disappointed, a very very good course usually with fantastic greens.

Was not informed that maintenance was being conducted at this time, Greens aerated lot of sand, nine holes closed due to bridge work, had to play back nine twice and as I said not the expected quality of this course. Disappointment is that notification of this work and condition was not mentioned when signing up for tee time. Probably will be great place to come back to in 4 to 6 weeks I would guess.

Only 9 Holes Open

This was not told to us by Golf Now. Only the back 9 was open, so for 18 you had to play the back 9 twice. They're doing a bunch of work there and the greens were "decent". They just plugged and sanded them. In another few weeks they'll be perfect. Not sure when the front 9 reopens, but when it does you'll have aerated greens on the front for a while. Rest of course was in good shape. Always love this course.

Only back 9 open and COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE

Only back 9 open and completely UNPLAYABLE. Tee box grass 6 inches long, fairways PUNCHED and same length as rough. Traps have 2 feet of water. Looks like greens were punched by a 2 year old then sand just thrown all over the greens. Played 7 holes then went back into the clubhouse and asked for a refund. I won’t play this course again for at least another month. The entire course should be closed while in this condition NOT just the front 9
