Overall
Overall the course is nice. I played with 3 other guys and actually enjoyed the group. We finished our round in 3 hrs and 47 minutes. But apparently that’s not fast enough for the course ranger. He came up to us twice and told us we were 2 holes behind. I don’t like being rushed to play golf. That being said, that’s the main reason I won’t play there again. I know the course doesn’t care but that’s my feelings.
Now the course was great. Fast greens. Fairways were decent.
Staff needs a wake up call
Course is kind of nice actually, but the staff is oblivious. Really disappointing experience recently. The ranger was hounding us about “being 3 holes behind the group in front of us”. The truth: the group in front went out way early around 7am. Our tee time was 7:36am (supposed to be the next). So multiple times throughout the round we were hassled to speed it up simply to fill the gap between our 4some, and the 3some in front of us by ~30 min. To put this in perspective, we were at the 1 hr mark with a foursome at hole 7…we finished our round in 3 hr and 45 min well ahead of the course advertised space. Frankly the staff really ruined the vibes what would have otherwise been a great day. After a year straight of giving this course my business, I won’t be returning and will never recommend this place again.
Please call me about this review something doesn't add up based on what the GPS shows on your glof cart that day.

One of the nicest public courses around
We really enjoyed playing here again.
The course was in great condition, the greens challenging fast. And the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. And it is not overpriced like some other courses in the area.
A very well designed layout.
A very well designed layout which encourages you to play a range of different shots.
Fairways were good if a little damp in places but greens were first class.
Would definitely play again.
Greens too fast for the design
This is a great Fazio track, in reasonably good condition, and as pretty a "natural" Florida course as you will find, with few houses in view. Like most Fazio courses, the fairways are generous, but you suffer if you are even a few yards from the fairway, since the ball is lost in a hazard most every time you miss one. It is a challenging but fair layout. A golfer's golf course, with no crazy/silly holes.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Only problem: the greens are a bit too fast (Stimp of about 12) for the slopes on the greens. They are cut so tight there are areas that are brown and dead (or dying). I missed 3 of 4 birdie putts inside 5 feet, because the breaks were huge; a break of 18 inches in 4 feet is nuts.
I played the course multiple times many years ago, not long after it opened (I believe Fazio then specified maintenance), the greens were moderately paced and well suited for the often severe slopes. Much better. A Stimp of 9 or 10 would work well on these greens. 12 is "over-the-top" difficult. Punish tour pros with lighting fast steeply sloped greens? Sure. The rest of us? Maybe not.
Tom Fabio course
Nice golf course with fantastic greens!
Very nice with superb greens
The greens continue to be perfect. True rolls and quick. The efforts to improve the course are obvious - gets better every week.
Amazing golf course
Truly, an amazing golf course to play great shape and great layout
Course is nicely laid out
Enjoyed the course and staff is great
Great experience
Ala in all it was a very enjoyable day. Great staff and well worth the money.
We do care please understand the rangers that are on our staff are just doing the job that was asked of them. Playing in under 4 hours on a day with 230 players is phenomenal.
Feel free to call me anytime to discuss your review. Hope to see you again soon.
