About
The Champions Club at Summerfield is an 18-hole championship course ingeniously routed through a briny wetland three miles from the Atlantic. This Tom Fazio design meanders through natural marshes and vegetation. Its 6,800 yards from the tips and each hole features multiple tees for players of all skill level.
Summerfield has received a commendation from the Audubon Society. You will encounter plenty of birds and wild life at this environmentally sensitive course.

Bring Balls!
This course plays short from the white tees. If you drive your ball through a fairway (likely), you won't find it. Or if you hook/slice/pull your shot, you'll lose the ball. There is little/no intermediate rough. Edges of most fairways are 12-24 inch tall swamp. Even though we hadn't had rain in days, the :rough" is mostly casual water. To add to that, there are some narrow landing areas and blind shots around doglegs that may surprise you. Again, lost balls.

Great Course
Once again we had a fun time playing Summerfield. Pace of play moved right along…about 4 hour round. Ranger always on course making sure players are moving along. Fitz at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly! We enjoy playing this course.

Nice Course, unlucky weather.
Fun course to play, on course staff was super friendly. Offset by staff in the snack bar. We unfortunately had some bad weather but the course held up okay. The greens were fine but the fairways were retaining at lot of the rain.

Greens are in great shape and have a good feel. Fairways in average condition. Great staff and restaurant.

Great value for a good course
Greens roll great and a little on the fast side which I prefer. The course is clean and is in good shape. Some of the fairways need some repair, also around the greens. But overall solid shape and would definitely play again
