A fun last round
played with 3 gentlemen who live on the golf course. they were probably the best group i could ask for a last round. The course personnel are always pleasant and helpful.
Sell the course
If you arwnt going to fix course, sell it. Rob get your lazy butt out there and do some maintence or something
Act like you care. Carts dont even have windsheilds. What a joke
Rob please sell
If you are going to keep pullung money out of course and not put any back. Please sell course is going to crap.
Starter
We had a 10:08 tee time and showed up an hour early. We were on the putting green and the starter asked us if we wanted to go off early and the the magnolia 9 was wide open of course we jumped on it . The magnolia 9 is the tougher of the 3 9s but it was great . We didn’t see another golfer all day . Thanks to the starter we had our own private course!
Timbercreek
Dry weather hurting all courses for sure. Nice layout and course will be better once the area gets some rain.
Gone down hill
Been playing this course for years. Was always nice up until this last time. Bare greens, unruly rough and plenty of weeds. Played like a $25 course.
Something has definitely changed but I hope they can get it back to what it used to be.
First time playing
I practice at the facility every weekend for 2 years.
It was difficult to get on.
I booked it on line and followed 4 groups of old guys. I was
Concerned it would take all day to play 9 holes.
But we moved well. Fine in 98 minutes.
I am scheduled again on Friday. Layout of magnolia is amazing. Course in rough condition. No rakes in the traps.
Lots of weeds. Greens are just getting by. A little pricey for 48.00. But good to have.
Great experience! Gentlemen working the pro shop was awesome!
GOAT RANCH!!!
This has to be the worst golf course in our area. The course is in horrible condition, greens missing turf and weeds throughout. It appears the course iis not being maintained because there are signs they don’t have the money to maintain. The range balls are the yellow Callaway balls. They are so old and so used they are brown in color and are not washed. The range has more dirt and sand than turf. I will not play again until the course is under new management/ownership. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY….
Sept golf Magnolia/Dogwood 9s
Hadn't played the course in over a year due to deteriorated course conditions. They have improved somewhat but still have plenty of improvement possibilities. Greens still have numerous dead areas but better than a year ago. Fairways have improved significantly but need to be mowed lower (I caught a couple flyers from a fairway lie). Bunkers were good but no rakes. The cement cart paths everywhere need a total overhaul but unfortunately, you're talking some serious coin. That money would be better spent on revitalizing the green surfaces. I paid roughly $40 for 18 holes w/cart. I wouldn't spend any more than that until course conditions, specifically the greens, improve significantly.
