Best I've seen this year
Tee to green, turtle creek is in the best shape I've seem this year. Everything was in great shape. Literally, tee boxes, fairways lush and green, greens, rolled fast and true. Rough was high in places, but I saw a lot of working going on. It's shows. I'll be back.
Considering the March and early April weather, the course was in great condition. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the day
Good except the greens
Pace of play and staff were great, but the greens were very inconsistent in speed. Greens also had spotted patches of different grass that impacted speed and line. The golf balls weren't rolling very smoothly. Hope they get this fixed before the prime season. Otherwise a nice course
Nice public course
Turtle Creek is a nice public golf facility. It has some diversity but it has some holes that just don't burn themselves into your memory. There are a handful of holes that are just basic good golf holes. It also has two holes that are very uncharacteristic to the rest of the design, and one of them is a borderline design. The 12th hole is very difficult even if it is a short par 4. It just needs a little more room or a more forgiving makeover. Eighteen is a top quality finishing hole however.
Great time!
We thoroughly enjoyed the course. Nice course layout and was in great shape considering there was a lot of rain in the days prior. A good challenge and will return in the spring.
Turtle Creek
Course was in great shape for November. Excellent pace of play. Greens rolled true and were quicker than expected.
Great condition for November
The course and greens were in terrific shape for a November. $4.00 for a hot dog and $3.00 for Gatorade a little steep, but overall a great experience.
5 hour round
Are you kidding me? Sending people out every 8 minutes, stacking them up on top of each other. Went out as a twosome at 11:44 and finished at 4:44. What a joke
Very good experience
An open course, rough is an equalizer greens in good condition
Highly recommended for average golfers
Favorite holes are 8 and 18.
In between 8 and 18 are a bunch of less than memorable holes. It's a nice public course with some hazards in play but it's not a top ten course in just Montgomery County.
Good
Great course. Well maintained. I am not the best golfer. So I found this course wasn't one of the easiest I've been at
Turtle creek
Nice course and excellent condition. Layout average
One of the better ones in SEPA
This course is one of the better public courses in the SEPA area. It had a great layout, is in great shape, and the greens are in fantastic condition. Plus at about $40 average per round the value is up there. Best value for the money.
I play there any chance I can get.
Great conditions
Course is in great shape. Playing behind 2 4-somes made it a long round just over 4 and a half hours. People were taking way too much time between shots and standing over the ball. The 18th was the worst - we waited a long time while the group ahead kept taking shots at the green from the top of the hill to try to make the green over the pond instead of dropping closer. The free bottle of water on a very hot day was a great courtesy from the staff.
Great service and definitely playing tomorrow!
My friend Josh and I play here at least once a week. Great service and good people! Here is always in good conditions!
Challenging course
Turtle Creek is a very challenging course with long par 4's. The course was fast because of the dry summer conditions, which made it difficult to get the distances right. All in all the course is a good value with good conditions and greens that run true.
And yet you gave it 5 stars?
