Great
Course was OK. It was just after the rain so it was kind of wet only but it was expected.
4 some is front out us was extremely slow and the course was wide open in front of them. They played the tips but most of the drives didn't make it past the white tees. Golfers need to learn what tees to play.
Great day at Turtle.
12:36 tee time. Thought the course would be wet from a couple of days with heavy rain. I saw one puddle and expertly navigated around it. Course was in great sharp as usual. Looking forward to another round there sometime soon.
Worth the hour ride
Always enjoy playing the course and Bobbie and her staff are excellent
First time here
It had been a frog strangling rain for 2 days prior to our tee time, so it was understandably cart path only. I prefer to walk in these conditions because I find it more relaxing and the walk between hits allows me to focus on my next shot. But, this course wore me out due to the layout. The fairways aren't stacked on top of each other, so you don't finish your putt and walk 50 feet to the next tee box like a lot of other courses. This course has plenty of terrain to accommodate 18 holes, and the designer did a nice job. Next time I'll grab a cart. Lesson learned.
Beautiful and challenging course
A gem tucked away in Royersford. Great course where the terrain makes this a challenging spot. Hate to blame other players for pace and not give that portion a better score, but they weren’t the best on this day. But besides that, course is in great shape for the end of the season and over 50 days without substantial rain. Will definitely return in the future.
Dry conditions caused cart path only restriction
Turtle Creek is always in good shape, as the owners have been in the turf growing business a long time. While I can honestly say I have never seen a course go cart path only because of lack of rain, I think the course is better off for it. Course conditions were great, and tee times were 12 minutes apart to reflect the cart path only restriction. But even that was not enough to turn it into a 4 hr and 20 minute round. Only complaint about Turtle Creek is you cannot book online as a single, even if the tee time is less than 2 hours in the future. But love the course layout, architecture, and playing conditions.
