Sunny Day
Course is below average from prior visits. Sand traps are unplayable, Many places on the course are in need of a mower. The greens look good from a distance, but they are shaggy and bumpy.
Course Conditions
Course should have been closed. Area has had a higher than normal rainfall this month incl tornado and thunderstorms earlier in the week. Cart paid only but fairways were soaked, bunkers full of water. Most fairways had areas which were unable to be mowed. Again, COURSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN UNAVAILABLE FOR PLAY.
Enjoyed it!
Nice golf course, in good conditions. We liked the layout of the course, few dog legs and some forced carry on the 2nd sot in the green.
Early in the season?
I was surprised that the fairways were nearly totally brown in the latter part of April. Greens were in decent shape and have lots of subtle undulations, making it challenging and fun. I was a little disappointed about the fairways, but overall, I enjoyed myself.
Great course with lots of elevation change
Little slow for a Friday took about 5.5 hours to play but still a great course

I made a reservation for 10:50 on November 28th, but the course was closed.

We arrived 30 minutes before the reservation time , but the office was locked and there was no one there. We also called...
We ended up waiting until time, but no staff showed up, so we gave up and went home‼︎
Best public course in our area
Fairways and greens well maintained. They have a driving range. Carts are top-notch and corse is challenging.
Dogwood is a fun course to play.
Love playing Dogwood. Course will not beat you. First 9 holes are quarkee, but second nine holes are some of the best in three state area. Course is a real gem.

It’s a challenge everytime you play every hole is unique quickly becoming one of my favorites

Course having excellent shape except for the sand traps which are completely unplayable. It looks like they have been neglected for a long time.
Course was an unexpected surprise. Very well kept . Staff was extremely pleasant. Would definitely play again
