Very nice course
For a city course, this is the best I have seen. Conditions are always very good. Greens are very smooth but watch out for the grain and the slopes. Fairways are wide but traps are placed to catch errant shots. There is a bit of water but it reall is not a factor. Good shots make the course very reasonable but bad shots will be penalized.
Great Municipal Course
Challenging but fair playing course. Condition good and improving with some new sod on Tee Boxes.
Staff friendly and helpful.
The greens were in great shape
This course was in the best shape I've seen in some time. Some pin locations were tough. It was a very enjoyable round of golf.
Good course
This is an old style course which I like. It does need some money out in it for irrigation to return it to a past glory.

Great place to play golf in Mobile.
I have played this course many, many times and still love to play there. They have a very nice practice greens for both chipping and putting and a nice driving range. Could not ask for a better place to play golf. My home away from home :-).

Great course
We had fun. This is always a good course. Greens are a little fast sometimes but overall a good time.
Well cared for
Nice layout, excellent greens, friendly staff who appear to genuinely care about their course. I played by myself at 12:44 with no one behind me and a couple in front of me who played fast and only played 9, so my pace of play was whatever I wanted it to be !
Great Course
The course was Excellent and the Staff was very friendly; which the golf day even better!!
Turn's left
I wish it did not have so many holes that turn left. Then on one of the few holes that you can go for it in 2 (par 5) you have a little lake that adds nothing good. It is not scenic just hidden.
Course in great condition, clean bathroom facilities, bathroom on course, water and starters are professionals who will try and match you playing part
Maximum frustration and anger with the regular golfers/hackers who spend their time and money on the golf courses must be the aim of the members the golf course supertindents of are bent me losing my balls, focus and the fun and joy that I seek on the golf course. Other words, the "rough" thi s course has deepened and expanded and is the main source of most frustration among my team. Please pass this on to all of your associated courses.
Great muni course
For a municipal course, it's always in good shape and a fair challenge. Solid practice areas and friendly staff makes this a very good value.
Great condition!!!
I've played Azalea for years. The course is in tip top condition right now. Probably the best I've seen it. The greens are great. Nice, smooth, and true. There are a few soggy spots around the course, but with as much rain as we've had in Mobile in the past week, I was expecting more sogginess. The grounds crew had done a fantastic job keeping up with the weather!
I'll be playing again here very soon!
