Azalea City Golf Course

This is a City-Owned operated course and I have been playing it over 20 years. The grounds staff should be commended for its overall maintenance of te entire course, especially the greens. We had a weather (rain/lightening) delay and were allowed to play and for some resume play within 30 minutes of this downpour. The drainage is outstanding, so much so that you were allowed to drive carts into the fairways and a tournament was played afterward. I have played many courses all over the world both private and public and I must say that Azalea City Golf Course, Mobile, Alabama ranks there with TPC, Pebbles (without the view) and most certainly the RTJ courses that very nice across the state of Alabama.

Course has long straight flat holes and also changing elevation holes. Greens are always good shape.

Coarse fun to play. People are friendly. They seem to stack tee time .even when no one is in the box .

Very friendly got me out early crowded but once we got going pace was fine. Good layout and a couple of the holes were picture worthy over all well worth a price and would recommend for all classes of golfers.

Excellent challenge for the ace and great family course for the kids who are just beginning. Well taken care of for this early in the year and hope to be back since my brother just moved to the area.

Not a bad Track for a city course

It is unfair to expect summer green and lush conditions this time of year. Course was in average condition with brown grass and greens suffering from weather. Greens could use a good rolling to flatten out marred surfaces from spikes and non-repaired ball marks. Pace of play was excellent because the wind and cold had player numbers way down.
Azalea is one of my favorite courses in Mobile and the staff are always friendly.

On the way to course thought it would be rained out. Once there it was high 60s and no rain. Great round on a course that is well used and crowed at most times. Group in front and back of us.

Couldnt ask for better time or conditions. Look forward to returning

Great spot and it is so easy to get to in Mobile. Not a lot of frills, but it has everything you need. Pro shop is well stocked and you can often find a great deal on needed items!

Course in pretty good shape but the frenge around the greens need attention, you have to land approach shoots on the green

Great course and we had a great time even though the greens had been aerated recently.

This is what a munny should be. Good condition, affordable, the starters were great, the grill staff and cart girl awesome, but the proshop young man was not nice.

Course in excellent shape and great value for your money.

Be prepared to be treated like a second class citizen by booking thru Golf Now. They push your tee time back until everyone else has teed off.

It's a public course so pace is slow because a lot of players are very bad and make double digit scores on a lot of holes.

Very few bunkers and water hazards so if you are a straight hitter you can have a fun day with your friends on this course. This is the best city course I have ever played.

Have played this course many times and have never really been disappointed. But they have made many many upgrades and the course was even better than expected. They are doing a great job. Definitely worth the money!

First impressions matter. Greet players , if you don't want to b there FAKE IT

Golf course is always in good shape, but this time the fairways were absolutely perfect! Challenging for the best players yet very playable for the novice. If your in the Mobile area, this is one of the best places to go!!

The course played great, but there were multiple 4somes playing a mini tournament in front of us and really slowed the pace of play for us and three groups behind us. Other than that it was an awesome day playing golf
