always enjoy this course, however right now the greens are being areated and it makes playing conditions rather difficult
A great golf value
A Great golf value through golf now. the carts are new & the coarse is in very good shape for a public coarse that receives tons of play !
Great city course
It was in good shape even after five days of rain and vary playable. Greens rolled great and holes are fun
Great course
Course is always in decent shape, price is affordable and worth it. Only negative is the slow play of other golfers, always seem to be waiting to take a shot.
very challenging layout lots of dog legs
course in great conditions for winter, challenging layout ,enjoyed playing this course would play again good value.
Not very friendly staffs
Many slow players, took 4 hours and 35 minutes to finish 18 holes.

Very good golf outing; course was packed when we started but we never had to wait very long to hit our shots. Greens were beautiful.

Great all around public course for all skill levels.
Great as always
The course was in great shape. The starter was not very user friendly, as he did not want to pair me as a single with the threesome in front of me or the twosome behind me. It made for a long round.
Confusion
There seemed to be confusion between the starter and the office regarding golf now tee times. He had conflicting groups scheduled because he didn't know about golf now tee time. He did get me off with another group at an earlier time.
crowded
The pace of play is at times ridiculous, no marshalling at all.The tee boxes back up with no relief insight. There needs to be alternating between 10 and 1 for tee times.The facility itself is good and for the most part the staff is friendly, but gotta work on the scheduling of tee times.Pace of play needs to be enforced and allow faster players to play through. And I understand that we all start out slow and not playing the best but sometimes you gotta let faster and smaller groups play through. I enjoy the course and believe it is a good deal for the money.word of advice be first or be prepared for a long day.
this course has good features
The course plays good but could use gps on carts. Driving range targets not accurate.

The only needed Is more drinking water magnolia grove has plenty of water coolers How hard would it be to buy a

Very good value
I have played this course many times and always enjoy it. The 10th tee box has a fantastic view. The last time I played had to have been right after mowing and the course was beautiful. By using the Golfnow app. I was able to knock $15.00 off the regular fees and got free ranges balls which is a great deal. Thanks Golfnow.com.

Good layout
The layout of the course allows you to go long but you will pay for your mistakes. Green are in decent shape for the traffic they get, a lot of people that play there have no idea how to repair a divot so the greens suffer for it as do good putts. The pros on staff act as if they are doing you a favor and can be a little uppity. The Marshall's an greens crews are good people to deal with as are the staff at the bar and restaurant. The green fee for the course is a little much due the pace of play and the average conditions of the course.

Axalea City Golf
By far one of the best public golf courses I've ever played on! Went on 4th of July weekend, and had an absolute blast. It doesn't take much to please me, but I was truly blown away by this course. We have nothing like this place in Louisiana.
Greens: Incredibly fast, and rolled extremely true. I actually had a hard time putting well due to the great condition of the greens. I think every hole had a last minute break right before the cup. Blown away.
Fairways: Excellent. No soft spots and well maintained. Easy to generate a lot of back spin for around the green shots which came in handy with the fast greens.
Layout: Not to difficult, but it helped having a few helpful locals to play with who told me where to hit to.
Overall: Superbly nice course with excellent staff. Would recommend to anyone and I'll be back to play again!
