Rude Staff
Staff was the most rude I've ever encountered at any golf facility. Played my round but will never go back. Avoid this place
Pace of play
Course was in great shape but pace of play was way too slow took 2.5 hours to get through first 7 holes and we started our round after 3 pm
Great time
Played this course with my son. His game struggled but he still broke a hundred. courses is tight, fairways immaculate as where the greens.
Decent Course, DO NOT PLAY if you want to play in under 5 hours
Course was in decent shape. Very dry. Fairways and rough were okay, but the and the greens were extremely bumpy. Putts would not roll straight and bounced all over the greens. Tee boxes were pretty much just sand and in pretty bad shape. Staff was friendly, but they did not make any effort to improve the pace of play. It took almost 5:30 to play 18 (as a threesome) - that's pitiful. The course really needs to do something about the pace of play. The course is not difficult enough to merit it taking longer than 3:30 to play
Skip pack golf
Great course....scenic but challenging with elevation holes....strongly recommended
Nice course
Nice course with some challenges but no too difficult
Nice course
nice course, but the back 9 is real right. Too tight actually
Worth Playing
Played on one of the busiest days of the year, but pace of play was satisfactory at 4.5 hours.
Enjoyable tract with a good variety of holes.
Greens are a little slow, but that's probably a good thing since there's so much undulation.
Wonderful staff and pro shop.
Toughest #1 hole ever played on the East Coast.
Course is a good value for $20.00. Par 70 with six par threes. Lots of hills and valleys. 45 min. ride from downtown Phila. Excellent Hamburgers.
Okay...not at full price.
Staff is friendly! 1st tee at around 3:30. Had to scrape every water jug for half bottle of water and the temp was north of 90 degrees.
Good value course
I like this course. It has enough challenge without being unfair. The staff is nice. The price is usually spot on. The greens are well contoured with only three that seem unrealistic.
The dry less this year, has roaches all of the greens. They were in bad shape mostly when we played. Weeks without ron have caused dead spots and they have to fix them causing unevenness and bumpy play. Rest of the course was well handled for the conditions
good price
slow greens due to lack of rain and they couldn't cut. Shouldn't sell beer on course. inebriated players get slow and forget etiquette. Good course for beginners.
A Black Hole
This course isn't terrible, but I won't be playing it again. It is WAY TOO TIGHT. If you like losing golf balls, being on top of other groups, constantly having to wave off golfers on other holes to let them know you're about to hit, then you might like this course. You really have to be a 9 or less to make it through this course without getting frustrated. It swallows golf balls. If you hit the ball ten yards off of the fairway, you're either searching, dropping, or getting in the way of another group. A member of my group actually brought to my attention that if you looked around at any given time, you felt like you were at an outdoor cocktail party because there were people everywhere. I witnessed at least 6 people on the wrong green. The wrong green! I'm a 14 handicap and played to a 25 the day I played here. I could never tell where my ball was and never had time to look for it. Just leave your driver at home. The absolute worst part of this course is there yardage marks. The score card greatly differs from the tee box sign. There were par 4s that should have been 5s and vice versa. The last hole said it was a 120 par 3. I always hit my wedge 120-130. There, I either hit it 170 or the yardage was wrong. The yardage was so far off that my group constantly felt like we were playing the wrong hole and had to double check that we were in the right spot. The ammenities and staff were actually great. I had more fun off of the course than on. I hate ripping on this course because I had a decent time there, but the course itself made no sense.
Good
A few of the greens weren't in the best shape, but overall the course was well kept. I got a burger at the turn and it was surprisingly really good.
April Golf
Cold and windy but the course was in good shape. First time out this year and the greens were fast but we thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be back often when the weather warms up.
Skippack Is Fine
I've played Skippack a few times and have never felt rushed. Although there seems to be A LOT of walkers here which, if you're a good player, may be an issue. Fortunately, I'm not so great so the added time was welcomed. The course is beautiful. However many of the holes are side by side, which makes bad hits kind of dangerous haha.
All in all, I do like this course. My drive to it is about 45 minutes and I have never left feeling that the course was unsatisfactory. For a beginner like me, I've always felt comfortable and the prices are reasonable depending on the hour you go.
The course is a great value
The course was a great value, nice staff, would definitely recommend this course.
course should have beem closed
sone courses doing anything for greehs fees.. the day i played the courde was unplayable. tee boxes frozen so could barely use a ter(they needed nails) first aproach shot, PW from 90 yards hits venter of green but bounced 30 feet into the air and 20 feet past green. greens were frozen, like playing on concrete! played one more hole with same result ... then quit. told guy in pro shop everything was frozen... did not offer refund.. Course should not have been open.
