About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Apache Creek
Greens were very good but this course is rough around the edges. Fairways cut way to short
Not worth the price
Pot oversees, price too high. Pace of play really slow. Won’t be playing there again.
Great value
This course is always in good shape and they keep the price at a reasonable amount. I highly recommend for a solid public course!
Great little east valley secret
Never played here before. Open layout but still challenging. Island green was fun. Pace was a bit slow but normal for this time of year.
Waste Areas Unplayable
The layout for the course is fine and the greeens were in very good shape so I don't want to complain too much. However, there is a lot of waste area just off the fairway. If you missed the fairway, the waste areas were virtually unplayable unless you want to damage your clubs. Waste areas consisted of hard-packed gravel and sand. We moved our ball to the fairway so we wouldn't damage our clubs. So, we really didn't have an accurate score because of this.
Fairways were not terrific either.
Apache Creek
Course was in good shape and greens were fabulous. Would play this course again.
Rough
This course has way too much grit/gravelly areas and not nearly enough green. One of the golfers had new clubs and they were scratched up after one round. Won’t be back.
Slow Day
This course was terrible. The course is old, and it shows. It has not been maintained and that shows. There was no marshal and pace of play made the day miserable. The only good thing about the day was the weather, they couldn't screw that up.
