About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Overseading
Guess they have just overseaded. Cart path only. Greens have been generously sanded and are VERY slow. Not in very good shape, needs to grow back.
Not in good shape at all
The greens were covered in sand, the greens were were bare, the course didn’t alert us of any winter grass. Would not recommend

Terrible layout.
First time playing this course. With barely any cart paths, or direction, it was hard to figure which way to go. Very small fairways and a lot of FORES. Wouldn’t recommend.

The fairways and greens are in good shape. There are split fairways on many of the holes which if you don't hit the ball long enough makes your second shot challenging as you will be hitting from very hard ground. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our round.

Needs some TLC
The course, as always, is a well designed desert layout that is good value for the price and location. Having recently also played the other Dallas managed course (Las Colinas) it seems that Apache Creek is being treated like the "red headed stepchild" of the family as the Queen Creek course is definitely being better maintained than the property in Apache Junction.

It was a great round on a rainy day. Fairways and greens allowed for good contact on shots.

Good course.
Good course. Pace of play was pretty slow, but I was playing on Saturday so that is expected. Greens were in great condition. Overall pretty good course
Great course for the money! But bring bug spray!
Skeeters are insane on the course right now. Wear pants and bring your own bug spray for the cart, bag and your person. Other than that it’s always a great course to play and for the cost, well worth the money.

I use to golf at Apache Creek a lot, until they made it so I can’t book just a single player. I don’t see the reasoning for this, but will probably won’t golf there until I can book as a single.

Fun Course
Fun desert course with some impressive views. Several holes offer risk/reward if you are interested in cutting corners through the desert. Very good variety of holes that will keep you entertained. Good food in the clubhouse. Make sure to take a look at their unique selection of used clubs in the pro shop. They have some beauties including Mizuno MP-33 and Ping Eye 2 sets.
