About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Good value
Interesting layout. Mostly flat. Great value for Feb. and great pace of play for a 1PM tee time. Desert areas are rough. Greens ok. A couple were bumpy. I’d play it again.

The price was right
The price was right. Fairways a little narrow good price for the area and pace of play was good.

Poor greens. Did not come they re-seed well at all. Fairways sparse at best. Very disappointed.

The first time I have had to pay for a cart to ride single since COVID started 20.00 is a little steep

Good time
Good time at this course. Pace of play was excellent considering how crowded it was. People playing are all super cool so it was a fun time. Great views as well.

Unacceptable pace of play
No Marshall. Had a 2:30 tee time, carts must be in by 6, couldn’t even get 12 holes in. Never playing here again. This is the third time in a row with terrible pace of play.

Ehhhh... wouldn’t go again even if Free
This course has so much potential but grounds are patchy everywhere. End up in the fairway and expect a lie that is more challenging than desert lies. Putting on the greens 9/18 greens have cancer and are patchy and will bounce off any line you roll. Was hoping for the price it’d be in line with Johnson Ranch, Los Colinas or even Kokopelli but those courses make Apache creek look like a dirt lot. Oh and it was a 3-5 minute wait between shots. With that said and how many rounds are being played daily you wonder what they are doing with the $$$ cause it’s not showing in the maintenance or improvements whatsoever.

Course is in very good condition
I played this course weekly 6 or so years ago,. It is much improved sense than. Might be a little pricey, but aren’t they all this time of year. Course is in (not great) good shape. Pace of play was good. All around good day of golf. Would recommend it.

Course needs work
Overall condition of course is not good. It needs a lot of work. I suppose for the money it's okay but I prefer a nicer course.

greens
greens are usually fair and well maintained, today they were somewhat rough, and bumpy, but all things considered they were do able.

goat ranches are much better than this place... only bright spot was Sara, the drink cart girl..... otherwise.... put up another 10 bucks and play a good course!!!!

Fairways suck, greens suck...... starter, cart guys, and pro shop staff rude.... Sara on the drink cart was an angel!!!! For what they charge....add 10 bucks and play a good golf course!!!!

Better values available in the area
Fairways very spotty, greens absolutely were crap. The beer girl was the bright spot of the day. Spend your $ a better way, just saying (eye roll)
