Shot under par back nine. Good green conditions. No sand shots. Teeing areas were small and could be more even. Over all best round of the year.

Course is in really good shape except for the mud sand traps. No. 1 remove the water. No. 2 The traps need to be turned over. Traps were packed hard. Other than that the course played really well

This course has good tee boxes and nice fairways. The greens were a tich slow, but reasonable speed with no tricks.The views are phenomenal especially from the elevate tee boxes. I consider this course a pleasure to play and will return. The driving range is good and the carts work. Staff and locals were friendly. It was a Monday so restaurant was closed. One hidden pond on #17 left of the green so be careful. I hope the course stays in business as it a lovely place to golf and enjoy the views.

Great shape this course and this layout makes for an excellent afternoon!

Torn shoulder tendons, terrible headache, pulled calf tendon, and back pain did not hold up well in 25 - 30’mphbwindsvtiday. Had to quit after 20th hole. When fairways fill in and grass is mowed shorter will begin to play again . Sand in traps (like all traps in GreenVakey) are beer tired overdo the only drag a thin top layer and rave hard pan underside clubs just bounce off.

Drove up from Sierra Vista because of the reviews on GN. Tee boxes and fairways look like they haven’t been cut in weeks and the greens were also in desperate need for a cut. Course layout does not favor driver at all.

Reseeding over and 90 degree rule kept pace of game reasonable. Conditions on fairways were good with the new grass and greens were smooth and fairly quick. All-in-all I will be back.

Fairways and greens were superb bunkers less so. Staff was efficient and supportive!

Played this course plenty. It’s a good course. Bar and restaurant are closed on sundays. Not cool. Other than that good course for the money.

Had a good round of golf. It's hot here, and we haven't had the rain we usually have, but they're watering. It was a little rough around the edges, but all-in-all, it was in good shape for our HOT summers. I'll play here again.

Pretty course until you get to the first tee and realize you are COVERED in mosquitos. Even after using bug spray, my husband and I still got bit all over! Our face, ears, legs, arms and even through our clothing. We had to spray our clothes with mosquito repellent and still got bit. There was people who stopped playing because of the swarm of mosquitoes. The only reason we stayed to finish is because we drove all the way from Vail. There was standing water throughout the course and even mosquitoes in the bathrooms, so many we couldn’t shut the door to use the restroom. We were hoping the swarm of mosquitoes were just on the first few holes but it turned out the entire 18 hole course was covered in mosquitoes. The guy working in the pro shop knew there was an Issue with the mosquitoes because people were going in asking him for bug spray and he still took peoples money without making them aware. I can’t believe we paid money to golf here and drove over an hr to get there. Made for a very very disappointing day and an even more disappointing night, now that we are covered in mosquito bites the size of a quarter all over our face and body.

We teed off at A/6:30am and the mosquitoes were terrible on the course, especially thru the first 6 holes due to moist conditions and the humidity in the air. After the first 6 holes the mosquitoes were still present which made for a difficult time concentrating on ones golf game. I liked the layout for the course but the constant buzzing did not lend to a pleasant experience. I played the course previously in the fall of the year and late in the round near dusk I experienced the same situation. I believe that the pecan grove just across the Santa Cruz River is a big contributor for the mosquitoes with the flood irrigation resulting in a lot of standing water and the heavy vegetation. And yes, I did use mosquito spray to ward off the blood suckers with moderate success as the critters were large and very persistent.

Greens current unputtable as they have peen punched and sanded. Will be back in 2 to 3 weeks. I like playing this course when it has recovered fr reseeding except for the traps which are always in bad shape... thin sand has loads of rocks that will damage your clubs. Some rocks are up to 2” in size. Don’t know where they get their sand but would guess from the adjacent dry river bed as it has not been sifted. Otherwise a decent course with very nice people and good food in restaurant. Just needs a little loving care.

Would have given higher rating if all sand traps had sufficient sand like a few. Can’t know what to expect when they are not consistent. But I’m an 81 yr old with a bad back and a severely bad shoulder and shot a 78 so I’m content.

It is a wonderful course i really love playing it.
