Like the course but don’t land in the bunkers!
We like the golf course but the bunkers have always been a big problem. Some have water and/ or mud and the sand is hard and crusty. There are a lot of bunkers and they are very penalizing. We suggest they be converted to grass bunkers or just eliminate them.
If there’s no where else to play
I like this course’s layout. The condition of fairways, tee boxes and rough are playable. The traps are just terrible. I have played this course 6 or 7 times each winter, but will not in the future. Each year I’m told they will be improving the traps. Makes no sense to me that this desert course has little / minimal sand in the traps. You would think that because they are situated in a desert that getting sand would not be a problem. Very disappointed.

Torres Blancas Waterfowling
I enjoyed the day although the weather did not co-operate for us. The only disappointment was at hole #18 where the profuse duck droppings surrounded the green! Duck droppings were on my clubs, my shoes, etc. It is unacceptable.
Great place to play
The groundskeeper has been working very hard on this course, and it shows. It’s a very playable course, but from the back tees I’m sure it would be quite difficult. The mountain scenery is gorgeous, but that is typical down here in Green Valley, AZ.
Big Frost Delay
Even though we started 1hr 20 min after our scheduled tee time due to a heavy frost and low temps. The whole grouped enjoyed our day. No delays expect when we had errand shots. Greens where in ok condition. Sorry not as good as your sister course Canoa Ranch other courses in Green Valley nearby.

Course is in good winter shape. Tee times managed well. Excellent service from pro shop staff and starter.
Course needs some TLC.
A couple nights of snow (yes, really) and some indifferent groundskeeping led to a so-so round. Greens were thin on grass but still needed cut. Course layout is fine but it needs some investment.
