They put us out right behind a turnament. A scramble turnament. Play was slow besides being tricked up for the turrny. Toilet seat around hole tees around hole , one green hole was off the green. Another hole had sand in it that almost filled the hole. It was fun for the particepents of the tournament but not for the 4 of us , never again.
This course is in mediocre shape.
Pace of the foursome in front of us was beyond atrocious. Saw a ranger on the 3rd hole and never again. Course needs a lot of attention.
Torres Blancas-Vastly better than last year!
The course is very green this year. Last year we decided not to play the course anymore because it was so dry. He played it today for the first time this year. We had a great time. We will be back.
You are in need of a rough mower especially around traps ie fairway bunker left side #9 around tee offs. Greens ok course layout good, good value for the money
Course is in good shape with greens the best I've seen in years. Traps are in need of care and sand, very hard and rocky. Staff friendly and efficient, price reasonable,
Good Layout with Great potential
Greens and fairways best I’ve ever seen, bunkers much improved, rough was dormant. Trees and hole surrounds need some pruning& grooming.

Like the course but don’t land in the bunkers!
We like the golf course but the bunkers have always been a big problem. Some have water and/ or mud and the sand is hard and crusty. There are a lot of bunkers and they are very penalizing. We suggest they be converted to grass bunkers or just eliminate them.
If there’s no where else to play
I like this course’s layout. The condition of fairways, tee boxes and rough are playable. The traps are just terrible. I have played this course 6 or 7 times each winter, but will not in the future. Each year I’m told they will be improving the traps. Makes no sense to me that this desert course has little / minimal sand in the traps. You would think that because they are situated in a desert that getting sand would not be a problem. Very disappointed.

I enjoyed the day although the weather did not co-operate for us. The only disappointment was at hole #18 where the profuse duck droppings surrounded the green! Duck droppings were on my clubs, my shoes, etc. It is unacceptable.
Great place to play
The groundskeeper has been working very hard on this course, and it shows. It’s a very playable course, but from the back tees I’m sure it would be quite difficult. The mountain scenery is gorgeous, but that is typical down here in Green Valley, AZ.
