Torres Blancas Golf Club

The course itself was nice. Green's excellent Greens Excellent. The sand bunkers not so good. Unplayable to say the least. Other than that I wish play there again.

Cold morning for Tucson/Green Valley area. We were told over phone on the way there hour frost delay...when we got there at checkin we were told up to 2 hours...

So, not wanting to sit outside we walked into the restaurant and were created by 2 seemingly grumpy old men (workers or golfers....idk)...they told us in a very aggressive tone...you can't be in here...ok, I indicated the door was unlocked and there was no sign indicating closed. Come back at 11...grrr. No place to sit outside but your car. Rest of staff seemed friendly: starter and cart return guy.

Driving range isn't big enough to support drivers. Forgiving course overall and pace of play was perfect. Would play there again for the price we got from golfnow.

Upon arrival, we were notified that they were 30 minutes behind which was not a problem. However, once we were told our tee off time we had to wait 10-15 minutes per hole on the front 9. And there would be 2-3 groups waiting behind us. The course signage needs major improvement. No signs notifing you which hole you're on and direction signage for to the next hole. We missed 3 holes due to the misdirection. The staff was friendly including the bar. The greens were well managed. The driving range seems to be under construction which means we were unable to hit any woods before teeing off. An inconvenience for sure.

I beg Torres Blancas to fix the bunkers. The current conditions is like concrete bunkers and not sand. Other than that great course layout.

This course could be so much better. Pace of play is excellent. finished under 4 hours

Bunkers were unplayable. Greens were spotty with bare spots and only held high floating shots

Tees were very good. Rough was basically dormant or dead grass

People friendly. Staff also

At $70 dollars for round, Haven is a better deal

Torres Blancas Golf Course is a beautiful place to play, with a well-maintained course and a layout that’s enjoyable for golfers of all levels. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making for a positive start to the day. However, the pace of play left much to be desired.

There didn’t seem to be any management to ensure a smooth flow on the course. Our group ended up finishing nearly an hour later than expected because a single group slowed down three groups ahead of us. It was frustrating not to see a marshal or anyone addressing the issue.

If they could improve the oversight of pace of play, Torres Blancas would be an excellent choice for a round of golf. Until then, patience is a must when playing here.
