Only a great deal with a Hot Deal
Course is nice but IMO overpriced at the regular rates.
A good track worth playing.
The course was in great shape except for the bunkers. The bunkers were the worse I’ve ever seen for a high end course. Round was 4:50, a little too long for me. It’s a great play for GolfNow price of $70 but not worth the normal price of $155.
Under Rate Course, Deserves a 5 star.
The Ridge at Castle Pines North is one of the most underrated Courses in the Denver Foothills region. This course has great exposed views of the hills and mountains with fantastic tee boxes and a ton of elevation changes throughout the course. The Change in elevation makes this course one of the most fun courses to play and work. Playing the ball in key strategic locations on this course is a key for success and making par. The overall course shape was in great condition. The Greens Fairways, rough, and tee boxes were cut in amazing conditions. We only ended up in 1 bunker but it played really well. it was a little firm but not unmanageable. This course is fantastic. The Practice facility is amazing as well. With great opportunities to practice realistic shots. The Facilities were representative of what is found on the course. This is a must play course in Denver.
Best course in Colorado
By far this is the best kept golf course in Colorado. Great greens and the views are spectacular! Love this course
Glad to have played with Golf Now price
Course was in excellent condition. The pin placement for a Sunday round seemed quite difficult, turning a casual round of golf into a real challenge. Would not pay full price to play here. Eating on patio in early evening was lovely, but wait staff was overwhelmed.
Golf with a view!
This golf course is my absolute favorite for public golf courses on the front range! I watch golf now for deals all of the time you can get half price tee times.
Great staff, great course!
The Ridge
Beautiful course with great scenery, friendly helpful staff, great practice facility.
I love the fast greens
Watch out for the bunkers
Great course that I have played in the past.
Course was in great shape except for bunkers which were like cement on some holes. They were actually bordering on dangerous as you can't hit out of some of them as they are so hard.
My first bunker shot on the 4th hole could have killed someone on the other side of the green it came out so fast not knowing I was hitting off of a concrete slab.
Had I known I wouldn't have played out of them and scratched up my nice 56 degree wedge. Can't even record a fair score for a handicap when they are in that condition, wish that would have been disclosed a head of time, or fixed which would be even better.
Sand traps are dirt traps
Amazing that a course once known as the "country club for a day" has fallen so far. The sand traps haven't been taken care of for years. There is no longer any sand in them, and everything is dirt. Our group finally decided to take a 'drop' out of the dirt traps since they didn't play like sand at all. It seems that the course hasn't invested in the course at all for several years, and it is really too bad since this could be the best public course in the Denver area.
Ron Ridge review
Great Track. Friendly staff. Sand Traps needs fresh sand and they were not maintained. Sand packed down and very hard. Rest of course was in great shape. Enjoyed my round.
Very enjoyable day!
Nice layout, terrific condition albeit a bit wet from previous days rain which necessitated carts stick to the paths for first 8 holes. Greens are quick with very few flat areas so be prepared. Very interesting back tee on 18. Play this one if you can. Really enjoyed my round.
Great course - but a long day!!!!
I have played the Ridge many times over the years, but usually in some type of fund raiser tourney, etc. Yesterday would have been a spectacular day to play except for the slow play. It took about 5:40 to play and not a ranger in sight. I'm not sure what the solution is but there has to be a better pace of play there for me to play it again.
Just wow
One of the best courses I have ever played... But I will have to wait until I can find a hot deal...
Great course
Always have a pleasant experience... Would have liked to have know greens were recently worked...
Great course with magnificent scenery and views!
Super course and conditions. Beautiful scenery and well taken care of. Hard to read greens but the are fair. 18th hole is a bear!
First Round of the Year
Overall Golf course in great condition with no aerfication planned until the fall of 2018. Cart path only until the April 26th (weather permitting). Green speed continues to improve and the team is working on pliability of the bunkers.
