Tortuga at Haven Public Golf Club

About
Haven Golf Course offers an 18-hole, championship course and a nine-hole, par-3 course called Tortuga. Tortuga Golf Course is the only par-3 course in Green Valley. Located adjacent to the 18-hole golf course, both layouts share a landscape of mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. The length of the holes ranges from 50 to 90 yards and there are two sets of tees. The course is an excellent place for beginners or those looking for some short game practice. It is also great for a quick, affordable round since no tee times are required. The Haven Golf Course facility also offers a completely practice facility that features all-grass hitting stations

Practice, Practice, Practice
Great place to practice the short game. If you learn to hit it close here you can do the same on the big course. Enjoyable and uncrowded place to get you short game in sync.
Great staff
Small short course but lots of fun & great place to work on your short game. “Mike”, the starter was FABULOUS ! Can’t say enough nice things about him. From beginning to end it was lots of fun. We will. certainly go back to play.
Short course is fun
Fully enjoyed the course wish the holes were a bit longer but for par three pretty happy had fun
Fun short course for family and friends.
A little muddy on the day we played. Over all too expensive unless you have a hot deal.
Good enough
Perfect for beginners or someone wanting to work with some irons. I played the course with three clubs, 8 iron, PW and putter. Had a good time and easily walked the 9 holes twice.
Very short course, nothing over 100 yards and most under 70. Small greens that rolled well. It was hard to tell which holes to play as the path through the round is poorly defined even on the scorecard.
Poor quality par 3 course
1. Way overpriced.
2. Old pull carts. No straps to hold down the bags.
3. Tee boxes torn up.
4. "Fairways" resemble a cow pasture.
We've been playing The Haven 18-hole course several times over the years. It's a well-maintained fun course. We had company in town who wanted to play 9 holes so we thought we would try the Tortuga course. Very disappointing.
Good practice for short game
Fun course. Great to work on 95 yards and shorter shots. A couple of longer holes would be nice
Fun for what it is
It’s a wedge course, don’t go on expecting anything more. There are no hazards either. Very good for practicing the short game and playing with beginners. Mostly feels like a walk in the park plus a little golf. Add a Bloody Mary and it’s not a bad way to spend a morning.
Tortuga par 3
I was disappointed how short each hole was.
I was expecting around 170 yards & less.
Longest hole was 90yards.
Starter was extremely nice
You only need about 3 clubs for the course.
Probably wont play it again but that's just me.
Course was in decent shape.
Great place for beginners
No stress course to take beginners. Very simple layout for my wife’s first time playing.
