About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

Friendly staff always
Course is always busy and usually speeds up in the back. Conditions are decent with hard greens and poor trap conditions.

Nicely maintained and excellent greens
Staff is friendly and helpful. Greens are very fast and putt true.

Debris
To much debris on hole 5 from fallen trees by water. Not only was I not able to find my ball, I tripped and fell hurting my shoulder. was unable to complete my round.

Good fun course
The course was in really nice shape for being winter time. Fairways and greens were nice! I look forward to playing here again. Note: great for beginners as this course is very forgiving.

disappointed
carts were dirty from previous round, lakes are now just mud holes, sand bunkers are dirt no sand.

Best overall course in Green Valley
Haven has been our favorite course in Green Valley for many years. We play other courses, but Haven is most often the best value and consistently in the best shape. It has a forgiving layout and usually has a good pace of play, The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Terrible course
Came to visit for the holidays and decided to play a round. Tee boxes were terrible. Fairways are mostly dirt. Driving range was a dirt lot across the street. Live in Tucson and have never played at a course this bad. The restrooms were Porto potty’s.
