About
Like many other golf courses in the Phoenix area, Sunland Springs Village is a desert style golf course. But unlike many other desert courses, this golf course has grass extending from the tees all the way to the greens. This executive course also features wide fairways with forgiving landing areas and large, undulating greens. There are water hazards and sand bunkers placed strategically throughout the course. The par-4 second hole is the signature hole, requiring a difficult shot over water. In addition to the golf course, Sunland Springs Village is also home to a golf school and practice facilities including a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

Sunland
Enjoyed the course . Course in great shape and staff super nice. It is an executive style type course but well worth playing. Will definitely play it again
Fun course that is in great shape.
It was my first time here and won’t be my last. Fairways and greens were in super great condition. The course did just reopen a week earlier from overseeding. Was cart path only (to be expected at most any course for 2-3 weeks after reopening. I would recommend this course for mid- to high handicappers, which I am. Very enjoyable round.
Cut the grass
Got an email on Monday about the course reopening after overseeing and how good of shape it is in but that was very much untrue. The course looked great but was so overgrown it was not even fun to play. Fairways had no roll so the ball would bounce once and stop dead and the greens were like putting on carpet. Either stay closed a bit longer or cut the grass because I have never played on greens that slow. Also don’t advertise how good if shape it is in.
Kudos
Kudos to the maintenance/grounds crew. Conditions on San Tan and Superstition were above my expectations. Fairways and greens were great. I’ll be back!
Slow greens,cart path only
The greens were very slow and it was cart paths only should have been 90 degree as the fairways were just fine
Another great day on 4 peaks
With re-seeding of the other 18 holes, we played 4 peaks twice. pace was still good and the course was in great shape. the other 2 - 9 hole courses will be open next week and I can't wait.
RIP-OFF
Our tee time was for 3 juniors and 1 regular rate. Called to book a tee time the morning of and guy on the phone told me $15 for the junior rate for 18 holes of golf. Never told us that 18 out of 27 holes at the course we’re closed so we would be playing the same 9 twice. Get to the course and go in to pay and the 3 juniors got charged $20 each and the guy told us (the two juniors riding in a cart together, one of us is 17 other 18) that we both had to pay the same cart fee of $10 instead of splitting it $5 and $5. Then for our second two-some there was no cart fee charged at all and the junior rate was $10. Go out and play the 9 holes, slow overbooked golf. And we are waiting to tee off for the back 9 (same holes we just played) and the guy from the pro shop comes out and tells us that we can’t play and that we have to come back and pay for our second 9 and that he could get us back out in another 30 min. Told him that we payed for all 18 and he denied it and drove away. Never playing this course again complete wast of time!

This is a great little course to tune your game up. Where they liked in yardage, they make up for on the Greens.
Great deal
Staff very friendly. Course in great shape for end of summer. Only downside was bunkers hard with small stones

Very easy to play. Well suited for any recreational player to keep in shape and practice

Course was in great shape! Greens were in excellent shape. I love this course because it is close and convenient to me, plus the price is right!
Everything was fine except for the landscaper with his big tractor followed us for the first 4 holes. We finally stopped to let him by us because it was very annoying
Other than that, a great course for beginner and older adults. Course was pretty empty due to the hot weather but it was nice for just the 2 of us to golf and round and take our time in the heat.
