Royal Palms Golf Course

About
Located in the city of Mesa, the Royal Palms golf course is a nine-holer with a risk-and-reward style layout. Royal Palms offers a mix of par 3s and par 4s that is suitable for all skill levels of golfer. Although it is a short course, there are challenges to keep golfers on their toes. Two lakes form water hazards that come into play on over half of the holes. Royal Palms G.C. also has strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the entire design that can affect shots.

Very friendly staff
Course conditions below expectations. More than half the holes had ground under repair. Bumpy greens…course felt very tired. But the staff was lovely..
Weather
Cold and windy. Played 2 holes and ride the rest. Have played golf there before and enjoy the course
Royal Palms GC - 3/29/25 18 holes played
It’s been a year since I last played at Royal Palms GC and from everything I saw out on the course, ownership/management is trying their best to get this course into shape. Fairways are being watered more and are looking better, tee boxes and greens need more work but overall the course has improvement a lot. What caught my attention the most was the amount of people playing, it was the busiest I have ever seen. Pace of play had its up and downs but again, it’s a small fun course to play so who really cares? Two players can get through the course in an hour and a half so if you need a quick round of 9 hole golf, this is the place to be. Enjoy the low greens fees now because when they get this course back to 100%, the prices will go up a bit. Overall, it’s a nice place to get in a round or two… I will be back!
Great conditions but very slow. Had to wait at least 7 minutes at every hole.
Just the ticket for a quick round.
I have been golfing at RPs for a couple of years now. Mostly short par 3s., 4s and a couple of 5s. Course is relatively in good shape. Royal Palms is good value for your buck.
Course is in excellent condition. The groundskeeper/golf pro does an excellent job and should be commended for his hard work.
Thank you
Course is in the best condition that it’s been in this year. Congratulations to the maintenance staff.
Course was in the best condition all year. They’ve been working hard and it shows. Keep up the good work.
Nice starter course
Great course for playing with your beginner spouse or child. Fun course to play
Meh
It was our first time playing this course and we booked through GolfNow. We paid for 9 holes with cart, only to arrive and be told that they didn't have any carts available. We had to wait for over a half an hour for more carts to come in (people in front of us were waiting too). I don't think I'll return to this course.
Fair course. Has been under repair all season. Rates keep going up and course keeps getting busier. Good beginner course.
