Kokopelli Golf Course
About
Located a short distance from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and Arizona State University, Kokopelli Golf Course is a championship length course that offers many interesting challenges. The rolling terrain creates sloping greens and undulating fairways. A majority of the teeboxes and greens are elevated as well. The course also has large multiple island tees and water hazards in the form of meandering lakes that come into play on several holes. The signature hole of Kokopelli Golf Course is the par-5 18th hole. The dramatic finishing hole calls for a shot off an elevated too followed by an approach shot past water to an elevated green.

Is this round over yet?! Photo submitted by u000001335906 on 01/03/2015
Not bad
Greens were poor condition and some tee boxes otherwise ok
Not too bad
Good value for what I pd through Golf Pass otherwise not . Greens were poor condition but the ball rolled pretty good .
Excellent Course. Greens, tee boxes in perfect shape.
Most fairways are is superb shape too.
Only a couple with patches...but no problems at all.
Overall a great track.

The unfortunate part of our round was slow play...and no marshals on the course to help things along....finished the front 9 in 1hr 40 and the back 9 was 2hr 30 and we quit with 2 holes to play. Likely will not go back...on a positive note the staff are great!!
Great course
I am a golf professional, played and been a member of the finest courses throughout the country. Very familiar with the local market. Prior member of Arizona country club and Desert Mountain Club. Traveling through the area I stumbled across this course. At first I was ready to blow it off due to the condition of the range. Range mats and golf balls are worn out, however practice areas for chipping, bunker and putting are in good shape. Entered the clubhouse, old and could use a facelift, but warm and friendly like a small town favorite hangout♥️ a rare charm missing these days The pro-shop is well stocked. Due to the friendly environment and good vibes from employees I hit the course. Playing from the tips, I was completely blindsided by the quality and design of the course., In short it was awesome. Challenging to play and in excellent condition. Only a couple of greens scarred with ball marks from the amount of play they get but rolled out nice. I would have given the course five stars, however, bathroom facilities were below average, golf carts were in proper working order but cosmetically worn, and driving range in need of new target pins, mats and balls. I'm sure that the staff is on top of it and in the future this will become a true five star facility. In conclusion I'd rather play this great course with a low pressure and friendly environment lacking perfect amenities, then a great course with state-of-the-art facilities where you sense a commercialized environment. I rarely write reviews but for some reason this place hit me in the spot where it deserves some praise. If you're looking for a good time and a challenge to your game, play this course. I have to get a dig in for Srixon golf products. Srixon irons are amazing. If you want to increase distance with accuracy, experience the forgiveness of a top quality product. Go hit them at your local retailer. Most exciting is Srixon introduced new drivers that rival all drivers for distance, forgiveness and control. The new z-star balls give results you'd expect from a tour quality product, and Cleveland wedges are simply the best.
A little shabby
No one. I mean no one fixes a ball mark!!!
Or puts sand in their divot
Course is a challenge with the slope of the greens for sure.
Just hard to make anything with 300 ball marks infront of you. Lol.
Birthday weekend golf
The staff were the best part of the experience and the experience was awesome!
Very playable and enjoyable
My Saturday 12:58 pm tee time went off early which was a wonderful surprise. Finished in 4 1/4 hours, the on course Marshal/ranger and refreshment cart was prominent throughout the day. The starter quickly greeted me and even introduced me to the threesome I would join, this was appreciated.
Really enjoyed playing, the fairway’s were in good condition however outside the fringe and near the greens the grass was long like deep rough which would help stop your ball but did make chipping more of a challenge around the greens. No putting from off the green allowed here!
I paid only $55 on a hot deal and by using a 30% GolfPass promotion code to reduce the $80 hot deal ask.
Unfortunately some greens were uneven because folks don’t repair their ball divots. If golfers don’t fix them when seen it perpetually gets worse fast. When You see these
conditions please take the time to fix as many as you can while others are putting in your group. Because this course has great large tiered soft greens and all would be very nice if all golfers would care for them.
I look forward to playing it again, even at $75 or less!
Play it! I did.
Play the course you'll love it

We appreciate your thoughtful review, Stamatakis. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the course and our friendly atmosphere. While we constantly strive to improve all areas, we are proud of our staff's dedication and the unique charm that sets us apart from more commercialized venues. Your feedback on the range and facilities is noted, and we're actively working to enhance those aspects. Thanks for recognizing the quality of our course—it's always a pleasure to welcome passionate golfers like you.
Morning 9
Fun, public course. Greens exceeded expectations given the price. Waste areas leave a bit to be desired. Good greens make everything better and these are certainly enjoyable. Really nice vibe here and a quality logo to top it off.
Thanks for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the greens and the vibe. While we appreciate your thoughts on the waste areas, we continuously work to improve all aspects of our course. Quality is key for us, and we're committed to offering an exceptional experience at a great value. We hope to see you soon!
Nice day for golf
Pace of play was very slow, but the weather was perfect.
Thank you for your feedback. While we strive for a smooth pace of play, factors like course traffic can sometimes impact this. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the beautiful weather! We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you again soon for another round.

We appreciate your feedback, kernel5. While we strive for excellence, it's important to remember that maintaining the course is a shared responsibility among all players. Our staff works diligently to provide a great experience, but we can’t fix what others neglect. We encourage all golfers to leave the course as they found it, so everyone can enjoy the challenge of the greens. Thanks for your understanding, and we hope to see you again!
