Red Mountain Ranch Country Club
The golf course at Red Mountain Ranch & Country Club is a beautifully designed layout set against a desert landscape with rock formations, mesquite trees, and cacti. Pete and Perry Dye designed the course, combining both beauty and challenge. This championship course was built on rolling terrain and has large, sharply contoured greens and extensive mounding that is reinforced with railroad ties. There are not only deep sand bunkers but also grass bunkers protecting the greens. There are also four ponds on the course at Red Mountain Ranch & Country Club, but only three create water hazards that come into play on four holes. A notable hole on the course in which water comes into play is the sixth, a hole that has a peninsula green with water surrounding it along three sides.

Play before it’s dry
Love making the drive to play here. Course always puts placement over length. Course is beginning to dry out and get crusty. This adds some extra roll out which can be good and bad. Play here and be ready to score well if you can keep your ego in check.
Fun Pete Dye track
Challenging and fun. Greens were awesome. Friendly staff. Super value.
No rangers, no etiquette
Course allows people to jump in front of you, and when you alert the clubhouse they don’t do anything about it. Won’t return
Overall, course was fantastic. Other than the greens, course was maintained very well.
Only saw beverage cart once, which would be bad if relied on it, but water was plentiful on course.
Greens were not well taken care of...grounds crew had everything perfect...it's the people playing that have mucked up course. How hard is it to repair ball marks? Repair yours, and at least 2 others...I repaired at least 5-6 ball marks, on top of mine, every green.
I would definitely recommend playing, and will play again without hesitation.
Unique, quirky, and interesting. I enjoyed playing here, looking forward to going back. I’ll bet because of its quirkiness it will play like a different course. Could be in better shape….greens are ok.
this course is truly awesome!!! we had a 6:45 tee time so the weather and sunrise really made the day. i’ve been wanting to play this course for awhile because i drive by amd see the course from the highway. definitely coming back and the staff was great especially Greg !!! txs all for the hospitality
Great condition! Must play
Wonderful course in great condition. Many undulations on fairways and greens, very challenging for a weekly golfer. Many options with mix of tee choices, not too long but narrow fairways on some holes keep you focused. Most consistent course conditions I have played all year and this was middle of May. Beautiful scenery, lots of sand and water. Pace was very open for a weekday.
I may have a new course for my tip 3 in Phoenix valley!
Friendly staff and well-manicured course. If you are a longer hitter, it likely makes more sense to tee off with a hybrid or long iron on most of the par 4s, and 2/3 of the par 5s. The holes are less forgiving with long drives, but more open around 200 to 250 from the tee. Your short game will be tested if you miss the green. Great people with staff and members.
