Stripe Show Golf Club

About
The golf course at Stripe Show Golf Club (previously known as Freedom Golf Course) is a walker-friendly and affordable venue for juniors, beginners and experienced golfers in search of a pleasant round. The executive length course has a risk-and-reward layout for an interesting game. This course may be short but there are several challenging elements. Situated on a terrain of rolling hills, golfers can expect uneven lies and elevation changes adding some interesting elements to the course. Water hazards come into play on several holes and there are strategically placed sand bunkers present on the course as well. Stripe Show Golf Club is well maintained with plenty of nice, shady areas.

Quick Round
Can't beat the price for a quick round after work. The course is under newer management and they are clearly working hard to improve it, so don't arrive with any lofty country club expectations. Friendly staff and quick pace of play. Simply enjoy the good deal while working on your short game. Great for beginners!
Great fun course
This is our third time playing this course and we loved every round. It is an “Iron only” course that has lots of variety and challenges along the way. It is a work in progress, but the huge overgrown trees will prove to be quite the benefit this summer for their shade. Great value for the money, and I plan to play at least once a week for the next several months!
Is great course foe juniors and seniors!
The course is in transition and with some improvements will be a real credit to the golfing community. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They made our golfing experience at Fiesta Lakes an enjoyable day.
Decent iron course.
Ok... Disclaimer—Please do not go into this course thinking you are going to be playing a 5-star quality course. This course is old, under new (and extremely friendly) management, and is currently being REJUVENATED. Yes, there will be parts that have dirt, dead grass, etc.. but from years of neglect from prior owners, it takes time to get this place back to its old glory.
I have personally played this course several times, some times 2 times in the same day. It’s always enjoyable. A good iron course for sure. I have to say, for the price, this is a very decent course — if you can look passed the problem areas that are being rejuvenated. The good thing is the current owners are doing their best to bring this course back to life and each time I play it, it does get better.
Try this course, it’s worth the price and a cute little hidden gem. “She’s old, but has it where it counts”
Great course
I love going to this course... not to challenging for me being a beginner. The staff is awesome
A work in progress
I spoke with one of the owners. He's got the right idea and I can see that the course could be great. My recommendation for repeat business, is to address the putting greens ASAP. No golfer wants to hit painted dirt! Fix that and you will grow your business. Additionally, Google maps sent us to the community college parking lot, off Dobson, rather than Alma School. The place has a TON of potential. It just needs TLC. I hope to be impressed next time I play it :)
Lots of potential
Come back to this picturesque little course in a year. It is under new ownership and a complete renovation is taking place after years of neglect. Mature trees, nice layout for a small, executive type 9 hole course.
Worth it
Let's be clear, this is not a top end course. But if you need work on your short irons, and have less then 2 hours to play, this is perfect.
I hope the grass comes in. I wish these guys the best
Neat Little Course on the Upswing
This was a nice slow pace course, great for beginners. While the condition of the course wasn't the greatest, it had been closed for quite some time and they are trying to restore.
January
This is a good, short course to work on iron play.
Stare into my Crystal Ball
If you wanna see potential, with great ownership.....play here!
Still rough but on its way.
The grill is all Hit and no Miss
Very enjoyable layout
If you wanna support the growth of the game, spend money here
