Beautiful views and peaceful surroundings made for a very enjoyable afternoon. Our check in process was smooth and staff very friendly and helpful. We would definitely play again!

Canyon Mesa made us feel welcome and comfortable. Bill at the Golf Shop was Great. This course is ideal for children and anyone learning to play or someone working on their ‘irons’ game.

Canyon Mesa Golf Course is just fun all golfers, from beginners to scratch players. It’s a par 28 (eight par 3’s and one short par 4), and beautifully maintained. Greens were a bit on the wet side the day we played, but it wasn’t a distraction. We paid to go around the track twice (18 holes), but had to quit after nine because of a flash flood warning. The nice fellow operations the pro shop issued us rain passes, but unfortunately, we did not make it back for the other nine. We would definitely play this course again when in Sedona area.

Beautiful little 9-holer tucked into a lovely residential area in Oak Creek. Some elevation change, a little water. Holes are mostly straightforward and greens ran true, if a little slow... went around twice in 2 1/2 hours on a Saturday! Will be back!

Nice executive course that is best played after 07:30. I was allowed to tee off early with another gentleman only to receive greif from the Greenskeeper who continued to mow the greens while we putted. We were told they would stop mowing when we were on the tee box but they continued mowing on 7 of 9 holes sometimes within 1 foot of where we were standing. Rude staff, I will not play there again.

This was a great 3 par course which was quick and excellent value for money. I felt like I had the whole course to myself. Staff were very friendly and kind.

Beautiful views, great conditions and Willie was wonderful. Tight layout tests your accuracy and club selection. Greens were great.

On vacation in Sedona and didn’t want to tie up too much time playing a full round. This was excellent and enjoyable. Played it twice very quickly.

Sedona is beautiful and this course is a very interesting par 3. The only down side is that the play is over too soon. The greens were very well cared for and the course is green as paradise.

Just one short par 4 hole on this course and several interesting par three holes. Wonderful views on almost all holes!

After I read all the glowing reviews on Canyon Mesa, I was ready for

an impressive golf course.

,Willie is the Pro here and he is a nice friendly fellow who hails from the Detroit area of Michigan.

This course is 33 years old so all the trees and bushes have had plenty of time to grow up.

The price for a twosome to play 9 holes with a cart is pretty steep.

It's only 1000 yards from the red tees. If you figure cost based upon yards played you are looking at a very costly round of golf.

Most of the holes are straight forward and simple. Hole #5 is 160 yards from the white tees over a lake and fountain into the prevailing wind.

The longest hole is 260 yards from the white tees. The tee box lines you up perfectly to the creek on the left and the green is obscured by a grove of trees.

The toughest handicap hole was #8 a blind dogleg right over a ditch.

Most of the fairways were not mowed and the ball stopped immediately. In addition, there were weeds and dandelions in the fairway. The greens appear to have been punched 3 weeks ago, and they were bumpy and slow as well as undulating.

They have a men's league every morning and the guys are in slo-mo.

That's a nearly 2 hour time frame on a pitch and putt course.

My second round in 2 trips to Sedona/Oak Creek and both were 5-star. Great design that uses elevation changes to engage all your golfing tools. Greens are are challenging & whole course kept in amazing condition. Greens aren't too small and contours allow for completely different but accessive hole locations. It's hard not to really like this course & if it were near my home I'd want to play it alot to see the different set ups. Pace of play was perfect both times @ 11/12:00. I expect to be back here.

Great course with nice little practice area. Amazing greens and holes that wind their way through a beautiful community. Spectacular views and a premium on scoring iron play!
