Oakcreek Country Club is situated amongst Sedona's red rock mountains, providing unique scenery throughout. Opened over 40 years ago, it is Sedona's first golf course. The course was a collaboration between Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his son. It is a classic, player-friendly layout that offers plenty of room for error. There are also several opportunities to recover errant shots incorporated into the design. Despite its forgiving nature, the golf course definitely has its challenges. There are tree-lined fairways with bunkers strategically positioned in the landing areas and elevated greens bordered by large, swirling bunkers. Three lakes also come into play on five holes. Oakcreek Country Club requires accuracy as well as length in order to score well. Next to the clubhouse there are extensive practice facilities including a large driving range with target areas, a practice green, putting and chipping greens, and a short game area with a sand bunker.

This course looked much better online.Fairways long in spots and pretty bumpy.Traps were hard and crusty.Good views ...but play was sooooo slow we left after hole 17.Going to hole #10 we waited 22 min. before getting to tee off due to such slow play....with no ranger on the course.Would have been a little over five hours had we stuck around for the last hole.

Great layout

Beautiful course that meanders through red rocks. Great variety of doglegs, short and long par fours and playable par threes and. fives. Very walkable if you are in decent shape as there are some hills . My wife and I walked it three days in a row but we are in pretty giood shape. Pace of play can be an issue as the course gets a lot of play from out of towners trying to get their games in shape after the winter. We love the course and will be back. . Forgot to mention fantastic greens. Very fast and in excellent shape. Some fairways took a beating with tough winter they had here but they ahould come back

Beautiful views! Course not in prime condition this early in year. Very friendly staff. Nice fun little course. The only problem is the price. Like most of AZ the course is grossly overpriced at $150.
