Take bug spray this time of year.

The price was right! Monsoon weather, very many mosquitoes. Fairways narrow, but it's a desert course. Holes are very poorly marked on desert paths, especially the front 9. Wasted time going wrong way. Would play again for this price.

Wickenburg Review

This course just received heavey rain storm, there was rain damage to several parts of the course. Still, it was a fun trip around this GC. The cart paths were not as well marked as i would like. It was hard to know where to go for the next hole. Overall, I enjoyed my round and will probably try it again.

great time

Teed off at 8:45 am finished at 11. I find the course a lot of fun to play. Only real rough spots were the traps, but it is a desert course. It is one of the courses I look forward to playing when I come from California.

nice change of pace from valley courses

Played as a single and got out early. Slow ahead of me - populated by older High hcp.

Nice greens and narrow fairways. Miss 'em and you 're in the desert. Not much rough-go straight into the desert. Unpaved cart path was entertaining when going up and down to elevated tees. Long par 4's will eat your lunch.

The ccourse is great of those that can target their hits

I booked the tee times with golfnow, but I did so thinking that I could use my SouthWest pass once we got to the golf course. They allowed us to do so, but informed us that next time they would not honor the SouthWest Pass if we booked our tee time through GolfNow. They only want to honor the Pass if we use their phone number for the tee reservation and tell them it's with a SWP. I would think that this could be incorporated into the GolfNow tee times. Either book with the GolfNow rate or a special pass rate such as the SWP.

Course is in great shape. Fun play.

We play this course several times a year. It's s long way from sun city but worth the drive. The staff are very accommodating , always attempts to get us on if we arrive early. Love the course, fun and challenging.

I will play it again, for the price I paid. Even though their are short yardage holes , you need to put the ball in play .

It is far from a Country Club course setting. It is challenging if you don't hit in the fairways. 3 greens were very poor. Was told they were getting close to overseeding and reason for poor quality. Fairways were in good shape. Sand traps were a little short of sand. We had lunch at the club house and , it was nice and food had good flavor . Prices were above expectaions by about 3%.
Employees in all areas were friendly .

super fun target golf....

We played wickenburg cc on a Sunday for the first time and had a super fun time. The course is in great shape as long as u hit the fairways that are very narrow. The greens are very small with a lot of slope in them. We had pretty much the whole course to ourselves that allowed us to check out the holes before playing them so we could c where to hit our shots since a lot of the tee shots are blind doglegs. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant had very tasty food and a well stocked bar.
If your a bomber this might not be the course for u but if u want to play a course with a little change in the way we play golf then give it a try.

geat course, greens need alittle work. leave driver in bag

My wife and I enjoyed this challenging course. I found you must leave driver in bag, because of the tight fairways, dog legs. greens are small, and need some work. the scene is beautiful and the drive to wickenburg cc is well worth the trip.

Fun Course!

This course could be 4 stars with a little better conditioning. Holes are varied and interesting, especially from the back tees. Hard to play for a first-timer. Many narrow fairways and run-off points. Greens were only about 75% covered in grass and grass around the greens was often very thin. signage needs to be improved. Many cart path intersections leave you guessing where to go. Got lost twice.

Unique layout worth the drive

Unique layout with many doglegs and blind shots. Plays longer yardage would suggest , we took the proshop guys advice and played the middle/white tees. Still found it challenging. Played as twosome early in morning and finished in 3 hours flat. Had a great time.

Fun Course

Very interesting layout with a lot of elevation change. Course is pretty tight and requires some good shotmaking. Some holes are tough because of blind tee shots....now that I have played it, I know where to hit it. Overall a lot of fun and would play again.

GREAT COURSE FOR THE MONEY.

A challenging course in a beautiful setting. Fairways were in good condition as were the tee boxes, however the greens were not in great shape. Overall a fun course that I would reccamend and play again.

Overpriced.

At 60 dollars this course is way, way overpriced. Course is in good shape, considering it came back from a very poor year last year with temporary greens having to be utilized from the fairway. Staff is always pleasant. Pace of play usually at 4 or less. Just have a hard time believing that they charge 60 for greens fees at this time of year. Los Caballeros is 60 right now and Wickenburg CC being a decent course pales in comparison. 2 star rating based on price, would have no problem giving them a 4 star rating if they were priced correctly.

Would recommend this course when they come down in price but not recommended at 60.
