Best shape ever
WCC is one of my favorites. It's location is beautiful, it is one of the more affordable places to play, and the people are "home town" friendly. I do think they should print out some instructions (aiming directions, yardages) for the holes with blind tee shots. Maybe there is a book, and I've just never seen it.
Great people great coarse . A person can get into trouble very easily if you miss a fairway and there are some blind shots choose you club off the tee box carefully

We certainly try to provide an experience that justifies the cost while charging enough to keep the doors open. Compared to other courses in the area, we generally compare favorably, but it is very relative.

Not what I was hoping for
Greens were great, fairways were good, but the course layout is stupid particularly from the back tees which make it virtually impossible even though it is not terribly long at around 6300 yards.

Our course has that effect on some people, especially first time visitors. You can certainly go through a few balls. Most people find that the course grows on you after a couple of rounds and you get a better idea of where to hit it.
We have had some very good players come through that love the course because it requires your attention all the time. They find it great practice for mid and long irons as they prepare for their tournaments and qualifiers.
Beautiful Scenery, Tough Course
This course would frustrate the casual golfer. There are several elevated greens which slope quite a bit making approach shots and putting difficult. Having said that, the course is beautiful with great scenery and horse trails nearby. The restaurant is also worth the trip
Be assured, our course frustrates golfers of ALL abilities. If nothing else, it gives you something to talk about.

Great variety of narrow to open fairways. Layout requires thought and distance management from the tee to the green . Great value .

Interesting Course
The fairways were in very good shape and we teed off on time. There were many holes that had water in places that we didn't know about, having never played there before. We needed to take cart paths through neighborhoods which were under development on a couple of holes.
Golf outing in Phoenix
The staff at Wickenburg is outstanding. I lost my ring on the course and they went out of their way to find it for me.
We are happy that we could help! It's not every day that something like that is lost and able to be found.
Interesting course
Very challenging course. You better have your game together. Target golf all the way and lots of water. You need to play the course more than once to figure it out.
The course does need better signage because of the new cionstruction. I will play again.
It certainly helps to play the course a couple of times, especially if you don't have someone to guide you around.
We have worked to improve the signage in the construction areas.

Overall good experience
Staff was super friendly. Short but a fair amount of trouble on most holes. Overall positive experience but would probably only recommend if offered at a significantly discounted rate. Condition of greens on front nine pretty spotty. Back nine seemed to be in much better condition. Also preferred the layout of back nine. A bit more forgiving and straightforward. Greens nice and fast. Just wished they’d rolled truer on front nine. Played white tees. Tee boxes were OK but could be a bit more level. And beware….no paved cart paths. But, again, a fun day overall.

Beautiful course layout with some stunning views and excellent course conditions!! Greens roll smooth and the fairways do too. Best way to play this course is KEEP IT IN THE FAIRWAYS!!!! Can’t beat the price for a course of this caliber!!! Great folks in the clubhouse and the staff period.

Fun course, great condition.
First time playing the course, will play again. Don't let the short yardage fool you. Mostly target golf, errant shots are not forgiving. It's a course that you must play more than once. Some very tricky holes. Greens and fairways are in good condition, greens rolled true, lunch at the restaurant was great.

Most people are agreeing with you that our course is in great condition. We do take a little bit of pride in the "home town" friendly and hope that everyone feels that way when they are here.
We do have a yardage book. We try to give that out to our first time visitors before they tee off. Most find it very helpful, especially when they are not playing with someone that has played the course before.
