Sunny and windy Tuesday
The course played well even with the wind. I was pleased with the conditions, pace, and company. The staff was like old friends on my first visit. I look forward to my next opportunity.
To slow
The staff was extremely friendly the course was in great condition however the pace of play was really slow
Course in best condition I have seen in years.
Haven’t played El Rio in years as it had gone down hill. Was pleasantly surprised to see how much it has been improved. Will definitely play it again when the wind isn’t blowing.
Enjoyed El Rio
This was my maiden round at this course and i enjoyed every bit of this round starting with checking in and every thing in between truly enjoyed playing El Rio and plan to play again soon thanks to the staff at El Rio for making it an enjoyable day...
Expected better conditions.
Played here July of last year. The conditions were better then than they are now. Bring tall tees to overcome tee box grass. Fairways are mowed down native weeds. Areas around greens little to no turf. Greens ok but very slow.
I know this course had gone through changes.
But to charge prime fees for sub prime conditions just not right.
Nice course
We had a great time playing El Rio
it was nice to have a course available during this pandemic and the staff did everything they could to accommodate us and did a splendid job
the course was in very good condition it was fun to play and it had some good challenge
Mohave el rio
Course has good potential needs more tlc money appears to be on brink of make or break. Greens decent to good. Tourney this day did cause to play front 9 twice. Woukd of been good to know that was going in before booked. Think it could be premier course with time and money invested.
Worth the cost
Greens were in great shape (maybe a little slow).
Fairways and traps were fine.
Speed of play was great till the last 4 holes, we were a twosome and joined up with the twosome in front of us on the 15th hole, waited a lot and could see there was a single, another single, theN a twosome in front of us all playing super slow! A player’s assistant could have helped a lot!
Don’t expect a beverage cart, isn’t one , so load up before heading out!
Overall a good course that could be great
One of my favorites
The greens were excellent.
Staff in the clubhouse food and bar were efficient and friendly!
Had a very nice morning of golf.
Windy day
The course was being aerated on several holes.
Greens are fairly slow but role true.
rough grass is not yet growing.
very wind 20+ with gusts over 30.
