Great Course!
Great course! Fairways are amazing for the price. Greens roll true. They just aerated so fairways are bumpy, but amazingly playable. Greens aren't perfectly green in color, but roll true. They are great. Course was awesome for the layout. Will play again!
El Rio Golf
Course was in excellent condition, the front nine was recently aerated so was a little muddy. The greens were in great shape and rolled nicely! Compared to other courses in the area this one was top notch! My wife and I golfed as a twosome and pace of play was good. Will definitely play this course again.
challenging course with a easy going staff
I’m on the road for work and play all over the states. This is a hidden gem, and one of the best courses, for the price , in Arizona. You won’t be using many clubs, unless you go astray, but the ones you use you better be confident with. The staff to care of me. Very easy going.
Great staff at El Rio
From the welcome to end of play, staff friendly and courteous. Excellent greens. Great value.
Good time
With several T boxes makes coarse very playable especially if the wind is blowing
Great time. Course was in great condition despite very hot weather n sun. First class conditions complimentary range balls, n great bar area. Will be back soon.
Nice Come Back
We had not played this course for a few years...at that time conditions were deteriorating. Now..a pleasant surprise! This course has made a fantastic comeback. The greens are excellent condition...they roll true and are soft enough to let a ball grab. Although not overly fast..still have a good pace. Probably about a 10-11 on stimp meter. There was really only one fairway that had a few patches of drier grass. Tee boxes are excellent also. The pro shop is hit or miss..we checked in at the clubhouse bar..which was OK. Course is reasonably priced...if you can get it on a Hot Deal..go for it..you will not be disappointed! Like their sign say..”Best kept secret in Bullhead”
Slow
Play was slow , single wedged between 3some and 2some, threesome would not allow single to pass, where was the marshal non existent, course was in good shape, price on golf now was fair, all courses in Bullhead area overpriced
Overall experience of the course was on the positive side. If you want a flat course this is not one(not knocking it for that). Greens were nice. Fairways were a little thin in spots.
Here are my negatives
No course signage to direct you to hole 1 or 10. Drove around a bit to find them. Had to ask other golfers were to find said holes.
2nd negative. The staff (almost non-existent) walk in to check in, pro shop was empty lights off doors open. No one working the bar. Ran into a staff member finally and got checked in. No on to ask where to find hole 1. Went in at the turn to get snacks and ask where hole 10 was. No one. Outside of non-existent staff round was good.
