Huntmore Golf Club

Plenty of marshlands and water to play around. Course was in great shape. Greens were firm and rolled fast. Found it difficult to check the ball on approach shots. Overall a great challenge.

My sons and I played this course for the first time and had a great experience. The course was in great shape and we played in just under 4 hours on a Saturday morning.

I've played this course annually for the past five years, and I can't believe how far this course has come over that time. Well defined fairways, rough, primary and secondary. Gorgeous fluffy sand traps and huge true greens. I would recommend the White tee box unless your a single digit capper.

Huntmore will challenge you. If you're not hitting the fairway of the tee... Bring extra balls. Overall this is a tough course that is in great shape. The greens are awesome and role very true. I'd play here everyday if I could.

This is a very nice course. Every green, fairway, and tee box was nicely maintained. I can't wait to play this course again. Everyone was very nice and respectful.

Before our round even began, our starter was extremely disrespectful. He thought he knew our game and decided to lecture us on the pace of play. By the way, we were a twosome golfing behind a group of two foursomes. And he is lecturing us on pace of play? As we were on the tee box, he then told us to go ahead and hit. "There is no way you two can hit on the group in front of them. They are 300 yards away." How does he know whether or not we can drive that far? As we went Tobit our tee shots he shouted something in our backswing. Again, not really proper golf etiquette especially coming from a starter! I will never go back there again! Speaking of pace of play... It took us 5 hours and 15 minutes and we were a twosome. Too many rangers that really don't do a whole lot!

This course is always in good condition. It was a bit wet because of the 4 inches of rain we got the two days before but was playable.

Slow pace of play on the weekends but great conditions and value.

Yesterday, a buddy and I played Huntmore for the first time in more than a year. The parking lot was paved, the clubhouse has been improved and the staff was top notch. They compared favorably to the staff at the private club that I normally play.

The course was in very good condition, too. The fairways were lush, the rough was tall enough to make us wish we had advoided it and the greens were rolling true, as quick as any I've seen in Southeast Michigan this year.

Huntmore is one of the better golf values I have seen in quite a while. Kudos to the Huntmore team!

Beautiful, well maintained course. Excellent clubhouse and atmosphere. I highly recommend this course.

Course played very nicely with a few low lying area not draining properly. We started at the back 9 since the front seemed crowded at 9am but once we turned to the front 9, took almost 2-1/4 hour to play the front 9 because of the back up. Beware of new constructions, I sliced one shot and it ended up hitting the house under construction TOO CLOSE to the fairway. Course variety is definitely the best feature of this course. Worth playing again.

Great course in fair condition very early in season. Greens were just verticut and top dressing applied. Know that they will be excellent in a few weeks. Played in 43* temps and grass has not grown yet.

This course is awesome. I've played every course in Livingston County and I'd put this one right up there with the best. For sure the best greens for a public track in peak season. Already rolling pretty good in mid April after the worst winter in 40 years. Challenging but fair.

Stretched out to 7115 yards, this course can lay the hammer down. This course has some of the best greens in the area. The lack of etiquette from the heavy weekend traffic does bring the value down a bit. But get out early and enjoy some of the best golf in southeast MI. Don't go launching drive after drive around this course. Bring your head game with you. Placing your shot will go a long way on this course.

One of my favorite courses in Michigan. Greens are always quick and true. Better greens in October then most courses have all year. Nice fairways as well. Will be back.

had a good round and so did the wife.We went out on the course to find nobody there, The course look great and the greens were at a 10. The only problem was the cart had a weird brake. Easy fix ,make sure you play this course.

I"ve played Huntmore a couple of times and both times I've felt that this is a fair course and you can score keeping the ball in play. The greens can be fast when the conditions are right. We played after quite a bit of rain and they were still fairly quick. There is a good combination of ball placement and grip-and-rip style holes. All par-3s are challenging either by distance or hole design. Greens are well maintained and roll pure. Clubhouse is modest but has nice outdoor and indoor seating areas. They don't have paved cartpaths throughout but this may be an environmental issue. Not sure. Overall it's a good value and you'll enjoy the variety of hole styles.

This is a great course without all the attitude of some of the "high-end" courses in this area. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
The course conditions are mid-June even though I played it in late September. The holes offer challenges and variety. The greens are true and fast and have obviously been maintained with great care.
The new clubhouse and parking lot add to the enjoyment without being pretentious. Overall, they offer a great golfing experience.

Greens got sand all over it, probably under some kind of greens keeping.

Finished front 9 pretty quick, but back 9 was so slow. At 1 point, there were 4 groups (of 4somes) on the same hole #14. Slow plays just kills momentum.
