Not So Hidden Gem!
First time playing and was blown away by the quality of the greens and the general aesthetic of the course. Seemed like absolutely NO ONE was there playing when teed off at 9:40am and didn’t seem to get crowded after temperatures warmed up. Overall, I was highly impressed with the speed and consistency of the greens (faster than Whitestone) and admittedly at odd with the greenskeeper who decided to cut most pins at the top of slopes or unlevel areas on the green. Challenging for sure but no one likes 4 putting from 10 feet or missing a putt 1 inch above the cup that nearly comes to a complete stop to have it roll backwards and 6 feet away from the hole.
Aside from that, the only on course downside were the bunkers. Most were washed out and close to unplayable despite the area not having gotten a ton of rain.
I’ll be back for sure. Cart person was five star and the food in the clubhouse afterwards was great. Also, don’t sleep on the breakfast sandwich before the round. Delicious. The driving range is also in excellent shape. So nice to hit off of actual GREEN grass and not turf this time of year.
Best value in Texas
Honestly, I’ve played a lot of golf courses and this has to be the best value at the moment. Greens are absolutely fantastic!
Great Golf Track
This course has many different challenges and is in great shape. Greens were definitely faster than my home course, but rolled true...I am a 14.7 handicap and shot an 87 at 15.7 index

Great course to play. Greens and fairways are in great shape! Always a good pace of play!
Really nice course
I really liked the layout of this course. You don’t have to hit driver off all the holes that are par 4a the fairways were in great shape pace of play was great. Cart girl came around regularly and was polite the Greens were a little grainy not sure when they punched them or if that’s the norm and a little slower than they look, but they are in a lot better shape than most courses I’ve played. The sand traps need a lot of work but hard to find a course that take care of there’s. Wish if they can’t make them right then do away with them. My opinion. Over all love the course. And would go back and play again now knowing the holes.
Great course with challenging tee shots. Very tough to find a course in north Texas with this much water
