Great course n great condition
I played on monday around 3 pm n still able to play til 16th. Pace was quite slow for first nine somehow. Fairway n greens are well maintained. Friendly staffs n nice weather. The best course around my house as its within 5 minutes drive. Thanks
Course is fine, greens were a tad slow, range is terrible
The worst driving range. Everybody knows this. But the club won't do anything to change it, the thing is such an old concrete and metal contraption. They won't let you practice chipping at the range, so you have to walk 1000 yards to the chipping area on the other side of the hotel building thing. I find the practice greens are always quicker than the course. There's a reason why the LPGA left this place quicker than you can say "'I'm going shopping" because the place is unattractive, is in an unattractive area.
The course condition is fine. Good grass. May be the fairways could be trimmed, they were way too mushy and soft, too much grass, that the fairway shots felt like first cut than fairway. The greens were slow, again. Very sticky, and not very smooth. Showed some signs of punching still.
A few holes are cart paths only, and that really slows things down. Some hackers just should not play here, they have no business playing here, but the club will take their money. To watch them and wait on them grab their clubs and walk down to the other side of the fairway because they have to leave their cart, and take forever to get anywhere near the green, and then grab their cart and do it over - this is not a golf course. It's a cart-ball course.
The place needs an overhaul. Change the cart road accesses to the fairways so these people don't have to take forever getting in and out of the carts on those holes.
That drive from the bottom of the hill at the 9th green to the 10th tee? Amazing that the USGA rules doesn't include such stupidity in its pace of play requirements, that if a course could not be walked within 4 hours and 30 without the assistance of the cart, then it shouldn't even be considered for competition play. But they'll keep playing here. Money talks.
Business as usual
Business as usual on the Ike: great playing conditions. Rough was much higher than usual, yet greens were just as fast as typically expected. Mega Monday makes for a slightly slower round, but never let that keep you away as the energy that plays has is well worth it!
Industry Hills was great
As usual, Industry Hills did not disappoint. The course was pure. In prime condition. The only draw back was that the greens were still in recovery mode from the last aeration so they were running a bit slower than usual.
First time I experienced a good pace, in the past I was disappointed almost every time I played there cuz too many slow players.
Great Golf course
I had a guest from China and he enjoyed playing very much!
condition was great.
01/15 in Holiday, we get food rate from golfnow.com but too many people, too slow the path, we can't finish the round.
Good Resort Course
Fun, challenging, great amenities to stay and play.
Always a challenging course, my home away from home!
Had a twosome for $57/ PP on Tuesday......never see that too often, except online!! Course played it usual toughness, eventhough the fairways were a little oversaturated in some spots and some could have been taped off. As usual the pin placements were tough and greens were great, but fast even at 7 in the morning. Never disappointed playing here, but always be ready to play this course....may give you headaches along the way!! Pace of play was great nobody behind or in front.....always take start time into consideration. Have fun teeing it up!!
Great Views
Place was in great shape and had a very fun and challenging design. I am excited to know that this track is close to LA.
The Ike
Course is phenomenal. Close to as good as it gets if not next to the ocean. Many elevated tees with incredible vast views of LA county and can see all the way to downtown L.A. from some. Course was quite wet and numerous muddy spots when we played but it didn't really affect playability at all. One of the top 10 courses in LA County easily!! It used to be way too tough with iceplant and elephant grass surrounding most fairways but they've removed all that so it is very fair and playable now, just very tough but very fair at the same time. A must play for all good golfers. Higher handicappers will struggle but still enjoy!
Pace of play ridiculous
Nice layout with beautiful setting. Well manicured but over watered on some holes. Greens were well done but extremely fast which contributed to my main complaint, pace of play. No supervision out on the course , no starter on first hole, fast greens, all add up to slow play. We tee’d off at 12:30pm and got in 13 quality holes and gave up due to darkness.
Great course, bad pace of play
The golf course is for the most part always in great shape. The pace of play is another story. It should not take 5.25 hrs to play a round of golf. We waited on every hole and every shot. Tried to skip a couple holes, but it didn't matter, we would have been waiting anyway. This was by far the worst pace of play I have ever had at this course.
Awesome golf course shape.
Me, as a recreational player, was a wonderful experience, challenging fairways, and surprising greens. I do have to play again
Ike's the best!!!
First time playing the Ike course and it was great. Besides the fact that the course was carpath only due to rain, it was still very enjoyable to play.
