Tour 18 Houston

My favorite course in the Houston area that is open to the public. There were a few spots that were kind of dry looking (maybe a sprinkler system problem) but otherwise in great shape. Pace of play excellent today as sometimes it can be slow.

What a horrible experience….. got to tee off 27 minutes late….. was forced to pair with another person….. paid 109 dollars to wait 11 minutes between every stroke. Won’t be doing that again any time soon.

The Golf Course overall condition is great almost all the greens were in perfect conditions. True ball roll and great maintained fairways Immaculate condition. Only thing you gotta worry about is pace of play.

The people in front of us ruined the entire experience. They were awful and we seen them taking 3-5 practice sings to punt it 7 yards or even worse into the bushes and take 10-15 looking for it. Was a group of four that played at a pace of 17….. the whole experience was pretty awful. Standing in the sun waiting for them to take 20 minutes a hole. I’ve never seen anything like it. We are not good but at least we play at a respectable pace. I feel bad for everyone that was behind us. Paid over 100 to sweat and take 5 hours for a round of golf.

Difficult to play yesterday with fairways soaked and muddy and rough high and muddy. Probably needed another day to dry out

It’s been raining for 3 days straight in the Houston area. Most courses had to close down waiting for it to dry up a bit. Tour 18 was still open and playable. It was pretty soggy and sloppy in some areas but for the most part was still in good playing condition. The greens are in great shape right now. One of my favorite courses in the greater Houston area.

Was cat path only but even with that, it wasn't bad at all. I absolutely love this course and didn't let me down with a great day of challenging golf.

I've played this track many times....the ground crew did a fantastic job clearing the debris so soon after Hurricane Beryl.

It was very wet and cart path only. The course is in excellent condition. Greens roll true and got faster as they dried out.

It was fun playing some of the great holes that you only get to see on tv. Amen corner was fun! Play was slow but think this was mainly due to a group ahead of us that was insisting on playing the tips without the skill. Course was in good shape. Greens were pretty slow which made the holes way easier than what the pros deal with. Thunderstorm chased us off after 15 but played the island green one more time on the way in to the clubhouse so that made up for it.

Treated like a VIP from check in at the desk, wonderful experience at the bar- cart girl+ All were there to please.

Course was in excellent shape greens putt true and smooth,- fairways in wonderful shape.

The layout, of course, is unique and wonderful to play holes You’ve seen the pros play on TV. (And read every hole history)

Go play there- you won’t regret it

Course condition was quite good for the cost. Value is good!

For $100 per round the course conditions were beliw par. The starter was not friendly. The Marshall hurried us based on a double in front of us even though we were ahead of standard pace. Many brown patches on the fairway. Greens are sometimes 4-wheel drive off road conditions. And, there is NO SIGNAGE to the holes!
