Love this course
I always enjoy playing here.
Great course, challenging but fair and lovely setting.
Little Gem
This course never ceases to amaze me. It is challenging, beautiful, and the most challenging greens I have ever putted.
This is a must play in North Alabama

Gunter's Landing is the best course in north Alabama.
Disappointing Day
Greens had been aerated and sanded the day before and the job was not completed. Course is closed on Monday so there was no excuse for it. Back nine was not open for play because of this issue. The rest of the course is in decent shape. Not great but not bad. Only played nine because the Course was too crowded to play the front nine twice. I had a hot deal rate so that was the only saving grace. I think the Course will be in much better shape in a few weeks. It needs to improve.
Quirky course!
Beautiful lake views but the course is built in hills and valleys. If you want to guess distance and club selection, this is the place. It's fun, in a quirky way.
Right Up There with the Best
Great course, great day - got there a little early, very nice practice facility and putting green to warm up. The golf pro, Steven, could not have been nicer - went out of his way to help me and allowed me to start on the back nine, which saved an hour or more off my round. That was important because I drove over an hour from BHM to get there, and bad weather was coming. Course was primo condition, with smooth and fast greens - a LOT of character on this layout. If only I lived closer, ...
Always a pleasure to play here
My mother lives in Scottsboro so when I come to visit her I make it a point to play this course every time. The views are amazing and the course is challenging hey hon seems to always be in very good shape when I’ve played. The staff is always friendly and goes out of their way To make the experience excellent. I would recommend this to anyone but brace yourself for the awesome views on some of the holes because they are spectacular
Good golf outing
The last time I played this course it was in poor condition because of excessive rain and I gave them a harsh review. Today, however, although it was wet in many places, the course played much better. The greens are imamaculate and roll true. The ball will not roll in the fairways so you have to compensate. I love this course; it’s my favorite in North Alabama and I hold them to a higher standard than most. I always look forward to a round here and drive 50 to this track. The scenery is serene as always! Thanks Steve and staff for a great experience!
Gunters in April
Fairways were still dormant as it is still April. Tees were over seeded and in good condition. Greens were in excellent shape. Course is hard and there were a few pin placements that seemed a bit unfair, but there are also stretches where you can score. Unfortunately today was a tad wet and there was not a lot of roll on the drives, but overall we had a great round!
Great course to test your skills.
Not a friendly course to play if U have knees like mine. This terrain is beautiful but the course is somewhat hilly.
One of the best
Having played around the world this is one of the most enjoyable courses to play.
Challenging but fair and a beautiful location.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and appreciate your business.
