Mystic Dunes Golf Club
About
Carved from rolling orange groves and native, protected wetlands, Mystic Dunes Golf Club sits on the edge of the premier travel destination in the world yet offers a feeling of escape from it all. Located just two miles south of Walt Disney World, Mystic Dunes was designed by PGA Tour player and NBC golf analyst Gary Koch.
Tee-to-green, this golf course is stylish blend of classic strategic forms and thoroughly modern methods, but it is its greens that will make this course notable beyond whatever regional reputation it develops. Greens reminiscent of Augusta National, par-4 holes that rival in length to some of the longest seen in major championships, and a diabolical quartet of par 3s that seem to get more intense as the round progresses are just some of the features on this 7,012 yard, par-71 track. Mystic Dunes will leave a lasting impression on you.

Lack of Information
It would have been nice if they had posted it on Sunday that we wiould have to play the back nine twice as work was going on on the front nine,,,,
Great afternoon golfing
First off, I have to say that I had a great afternoon's golf here at Mystic dunes.
Fabulous course, great staff, lovely setting and fantastic value for money.
Championship course in terms of length, difficulty and greens, so high handicappers would probably struggle here.
The course itself wasn't in great condition, probably due to all the rainfall recently and there were a few washed out areas in the big bunkers and a few areas that have been under repair and re-turfed (re-sodded)
I'm sure that this course will be fantastic once all the maintenance and repairs have been carried out.
Well worth a visit , I'm sure I'll return some time soon.
Amazing
This is not simply a community course. The first clue is the clubhouse upon approach; it’s enormous and extremely well kept. The course is in incredible shape and it’s a very interesting layout. For the money it’s one of the best courses in the area. I’ll be back for sure.
Amazing
Me and a buddy got a deal for 40 per at 650a on a Sunday. Never played there before and will gladly be back. Greens were great and tough sloping. Have to have strategic shots at times and saw a bunch of wildlife. Some areas of fairway ( not enough to be an issue) were under repair which is good. Otherwise it was such a good deal especially for what some horrible courses are charging these days.
Mystic Dunes nice Surprise
Course was in very good condition, even with the maintenance of a couple fairways. Very quiet and tucked away off of 192, was very pleasantly surprise how the course played and well-maintained. And staff was very pleasant, updated GPS 6 to 8 inch screens in the golf cart, which gave you range to the center of the greens enable to connect Bluetooth with your music playlist.
Beautiful layout
Every time I’m in Florida I make a mad dash to this gem of a course. It’s always in immaculate.condition from the plush fairways to the silky smooth greens. If you are ever in Orlando get over there and enjoy a round to remember.
Love this Course
I wish the course was closer since I live in Oviedo but except for slower play and somewhat slow greens (due to rain) the course excels as usual. Played with my son and we both enjoyed the experience.. Would come often if it wasn't so far away.
Mystic Dunes
Course was a fun layout you can see money is being put into the place to bring its standards back
Great layout, early summer conditions
We played for 40.00, so the price reflected the conditions. The course was aerated the previous weekend. It is common to see at the end of our Spring season so that was expected. Other than playing with a 2-putt max rule, the course was in decent shape. We have had a bunch of rain after experiencing drought conditions for months, and the fairways and tee boxes show signs of this.
If you're looking for a great priced, older Orlando Resort golf course, Mystic Dunes is a great option. The greens should be back in playing order by the middle of the month, and the layout is an excellent challenge. I'll personally be back in a few weeks after the course has recovered from summer maintenance.
Vacation Golf 2
Great value. Sand traps need some attention but playable. Greens healed nicely. Staff courteous and professional. Fairways in good shape. Challenging and fun course.
Convenient local course if staying at Mystic Dunes resort
As a Hilton Vacation Club member and staying at the Mystic Dunes resort, this course was just too convenient to pass up. Plus, by using Golf Now, the discounted greens fees was an added bonus.
I played all 18 holes on a Tuesday afternoon. Went off as a single at 11:30 am. Never had to wait and was never pushed during the round--the course was wide open.
As far as course condition, the greens had recently been berated and top-dressed. So, they were a bit slow. They were very receptive to holding approach shots. One of the greens on a par 5 had a tiered green--there was about a 7-foot difference from the top shelf to the lower one. Unfortunately my approach ended up on the top portion (but the pin was on the lower shelf). There was no way to leave the putt close to the pin. Ended up taking a bogey. There are a few "waste areas" on the course that were in process of being revamped. Basically, they till them up. Luckily, these never came into play during my round. Similarly, there were many areas on many holes that had ground under repair. Only a few of these area were, what I would consider, sizeable. Like the waste areas, the ground under repair didn't come into play during the round. Tee boxes were acceptable. I played from the blue tees which made the total yardage 6,400. Not too much damage, even on par 3's. Weather was... we'll, it's Orlando in June; it rained twice during the round. Both times it only lasted ten minutes. Not too bad. Luckily, no lightning.
Course staff were friendly and accommodating.
Overall, I'd love to play here again in about 2 months from now to see how all the work they're doing turns out. Regardless, it was an enjoyable round of golf and well worth the price.
