played behind a very slow foursome, course has too many waste areas

Great layout and great course

Pros - LOT better condition from when I played it a few months ago. Greens roll true, one or two holes needing some work on the greens. Tee boxes and fairways were good and great amenities.

Cons - pace of play. Had an 8:20 tee time and unfortunately had a group of hackers right before us.. hitting almost two off the tee and about two holes behind the next group. Skipped the group and a hole, letting us finish in 3 hrs and 40 mins. Need some ranger enforcement.

All in all would return. Fun course.

My wife and I played Mystic Dunes as it was close to where we were staying. Reviews were mixed online. We thought the course layout was interesting. Plus point was that carts were not restricted to the cart path as per our previous two rounds at other courses this week. A couple of fairways on the front 9 needed a bit of TLC but the back 9 were fine. The greens had been top dressed a day to two before we played. Some greens were therefore faster than others which caught us out a couple times. This did not detract from our round as we are used to this on our home course in the UK. The greens had lots of slopes and borrows which was a challenge. The course was quiet. We will return on our next trip.

I hadn’t played Mystic Dunes in a few years due to deteriorating conditions, but it look to be on the track back. The layout is quirky and fun for the most part, a few holes are a little over the top but that keeps it fun. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes are in good shape for the most part. However, the outside service staff was very rude, they did not listen to the questions we were asking and did not answer any of them. They are the first and last people you see at a course, unfortunately they left a sour taste.

The facility was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was obvious that a hard winter pushed back the grass growth so there were some thin spots in the fairways and greens. It will only get better since Hilton took on this course.

An absolutely beautiful golf course that will test your abilities thoroughly. Course was in great shape, greens were in good shape and boy are they some tough ones.

Punched greens didn't take away from a wonderful round of golf. The staff was very friendly. The course layout is marvelous! The tee boxes and the bunkers were in excellent condition. The course was not busy, so the pace of play was awesome. Definitely would play here again.

Course was in good shape, one or two green's had issues with burning. But overall pleasantly surprised on the Course and shape due some of the bad reviews.
