I Recommend This Course
Still needs work but great people and place
Teamed up with some Illinois guys and had a blast. First ones off the tee and played in under 3 hours. Greens were mostly pretty good even though they had been top dressed. Fairways are ok but the tee boxes are still pretty rough. For the $$ and the layout it's a very fair deal. The pro shop staff is always helpful as are the cart guys, starters, etc. Very professional but very down to earth and friendly.

Very Crowded Course at This Time of Year
The golf course was ery crowded at this time of the tourist season. The pace was much slower than I prefer at 4 hours and 15 minutes for a threesome. Alas, we waited at most holes to tee off. The fairways were seeded but they were extremely over watered especially in front of the greens when virtually any shot short would guarantee a plugged lies. The greens rolled very true but we're on the slow side compared to other times I have played there. Virtually all tee grounds need TLC. They didn't have enough golf carts when I arrived and had to wait about 10 minutes before they were available again.
I like TR but will wait for quieter times. 😄
