A bit better
First time playing TR this year.
The greens were much better than I recall, better than expected. Despite some dirt patches in some of the fairways and tee boxes, they were adequate,
We sailed thru the first 6 holes but we caught the group ahead of us and it was slow to the finish,

The pace of play on this course has to be the worst Ive seen it in a long time. A group of four on every single hole. Almost guaranteed to not get thru 18 holes if you start anytime after 2-3pm.

Saved balls
I enjoyed this course very much. The layout is great for the not so good golfer like myself. You don’t lose many balls due to the fairways being side by side. The greens were very nice shape. I will book again soon. And I did make a booking mistake and the staff was extremely helpful and understanding. Thank you very much.

Still needs work but great people and place
Teamed up with some Illinois guys and had a blast. First ones off the tee and played in under 3 hours. Greens were mostly pretty good even though they had been top dressed. Fairways are ok but the tee boxes are still pretty rough. For the $$ and the layout it's a very fair deal. The pro shop staff is always helpful as are the cart guys, starters, etc. Very professional but very down to earth and friendly.

Very Crowded Course at This Time of Year
The golf course was ery crowded at this time of the tourist season. The pace was much slower than I prefer at 4 hours and 15 minutes for a threesome. Alas, we waited at most holes to tee off. The fairways were seeded but they were extremely over watered especially in front of the greens when virtually any shot short would guarantee a plugged lies. The greens rolled very true but we're on the slow side compared to other times I have played there. Virtually all tee grounds need TLC. They didn't have enough golf carts when I arrived and had to wait about 10 minutes before they were available again.
I like TR but will wait for quieter times. 😄
