This course is just okay. Many courses in the area to play at a comparable price that would justify going elsewhere. The course itself was dry, which might be good if you need the extra roll to help out your distance. The greens were painted green to look like it’s in good shape, but it was just not in great shape. Not a course I will play again anytime soon.

Am not a fan of prepay policy and the 24+ cancel terms so will not be visiting again!

Very nice course. Links style, good variation of dog legs. Excellent Greens. Good bunkers. Only about 10 minutes off of I 75 if you are passing through Sarasota. One of the biggest gators I’ve seen also. Feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but it’s pretty close to town. I will be back. Most of the storm damage has been taken care of, other than a couple of downed trees.

The course is decent and the greens are fast and challenging. The only problem I have is that no one is monitoring the pace of play. It wasn't uncommon to see three separate groups on one green because the pace of play was super slow.

Greens are awesome , fairways are OK, tee boxes needs some work. They are working on course but the greens make it worth while to play. Staff is very friendly, they meet you at your car when you arrive with a cart....nice touch

I have played here numerous times and was not expecting anything out of the usual conditions (decent course, mediocre fairways and tee boxes, playable greens). Came out by myself to have a little fun and to see the current conditions since it has been over a year since playing here. When I get to the first tee box, they have the tees closed and temporary tees set up about 20-30 yards ahead of the front tees. I was hoping this was just for the first tee. Nope, they did the same thing across the golf course. The bigger problem is the fact they did not disclose this on GolfNow. I quit after 4 holes of this since they essentially turned this into a chip and put with these tee boxes, that are in very poor condition by the way. I went back to the "office" and asked the guy that works there for either a refund or rain check. He refused to offer any type of concession, said that's just the way it is. I asked why they are not disclosing this to anyone making a tee time. He had no real answer other than "that's just the wat it is". I guess it's time to cross this one from my list. There are plenty of other courses in the area in much better condition that also value customer service.

Every tee was out of play and temporary forward tees on dirt or little grass. Greens were the only part of course that were acceptable. Lots of trees down and course needs help in almost every direction. It does have the bones for a decent club but the way the tees are at this moment the course really should be closed for a major renovation. Good luck but I won’t be back.

I play TR at least once a week before Jan 1st each year. The course greens are in great shape still. Fairways good. Tee boxes are temporary ones as they have seeded and resting before season. My pace was 2 hours and 5 mins this time for full round. Been averaging about 3 hours per round for Oct, Nov so far. In January, it'll be 5 + sadly.

Cart greeter great. Wanna who works at the bar/pro shop is a hoot. Great and friendly even if busy. She has always been ready on your turn. Start talking to her, she's great.

Great course layout. Unfortunately, all of the tee boxes were being refurbished so current tees were very rough.

Once they open the tee boxes and clean up a few downed trees from hurricanes it will be a fun course.
