The Habitat Golf Course

This is a full sized course unlike Spessard Holland on the beach. Staff friendliness is like night and day between these 2 county run courses. They get how to treat people here. A lot of wildlife on the course including alligators which makes things interesting between shots. A good experience overall but the snack bar has closed as early as 3:00 on a Saturday many times which makes it difficult to stay hydrated in the summer.

I haven't played here in years and it was in GREAT shape. It is a tough layout and extremely fun course to play. Keep up the good work. Hats off to the staff. Way to go!

They must have had a good bit of rain because all the bunkers were full but the course was very playable. No beverage cart on course.

The bucket of balls is big for $5.00. Make sure you play from the correct tees. Course seems short but it is tight. Drives must be accurate, may not want to hit driver on some holes. Staff was very friendly. Also not a house in site, feels like you are on a private golf course. Would highly recommend.

Twice a week golfer with a 16 handicap. The greens putt true, and are in great shape, except for one...Fairways are in good condition, and the sand traps are placed in spots to where you have to trust your yardage devices. One of the better courses, and a really good value for the price. I will play this course often!

If you're in the Melbourne area and want a good, cheap course, play the Habitat. Greens played very well and course was in fantastic condition. Great lay out and scenery.

The greens didn't look pretty, but plated fast and smooth, tHe fairways and tees were rough.

Love the course but got rained out. Hope to return soon.

If you don't like playing in housing developments, this is the course for you. Was in very decent shape but didn't get a real feel for the course as we dealt with 20 mph winds (and higher gusts) for most of the day. Worth the money if you're in the area.

Nice course at a reasonable price. Tee boxes and greens are in great shape. The fairways were average. The pace of play was excellent. We were finished in 3 1/2 hours.

The course has well placed water hazards, bunkers and forced carries that made it challenging. I loved the bermuda grass it allows you to put from distances that normally require chipping. Definitely a great course if you can hit your spots but does because tricky if you stray off course.
