wow
beautiful club house and the course you dont even want to tee off but just look at how beautiful it is at almost every hole.
Relaxed atmosphere with no houses
Truly enjoyed our round. It was very peaceful with lot of wildlife in nature setting. Felt like we were the only ones on the course. Loved the challenging 18th hole. Greens just aerated, but still able to put. Lots of undulating fairways makes it a challenging but fair round. Highly recommend playing here.
Challenging layout but fair
Even though the greens were aerated, course was in very nice condition. My twosome was able to tee off well ahead of scheduled time in afternoon. I'd go back.
Windy but beautiful day
Our first time playing Habitat, special treat of extremely low humidity for this time of year but bright and sunny. The wind was a bit much due to the cold front.
The fairways and greens were in very good condition, and the four tee boxes were properly set up for various levels of players. I played from the blue tees, my game wasn't quite ready for the gold yet.
As posted, they had recently aerated the course. Aside from the expected sandy and sometimes bumpy parts of greens, they were still pretty decent to play on. No complaints at all.
Plenty of water hazards, but not unduly so, the carries were reachable. It's a pleasant course visually, with a variety of looks. Those that are really into their game would definitely have a proper challenge from the Gold tees, even on the par threes. For my "Eye", most holes seemed to play longer than the distances shown. On some holes, it could have been the strong wnds. But mostly, I found myself clubbing down on every shot.
We'll definitely go back, and have already replaced another course with spotty conditions and layout with the Habitat. Worth the visit, it's a fun course to play.
Hit Them Straight!
Course was in excellent condition. Greens were fast but in great shape. If you don't hit straight drives, bring lots of golf balls. That being said, it's a very forgiving course. Hadn't played there in a while, but always enjoyed it.
Wish they had a beverage cart though.
This course is very challenging, but fun.
This was the first time we played this course. Everyone we talked to said it was very challenging. I found it to be a lot of fun. You had to hit it down the middle for the rough was not very forgiving. The fairways were in great shape as were the greens. It was fun seeing how many alligators you were going to see. We saw three of them just sunning themselves. I would definitely go back soon.
Course is just right in the difficulty category
Enjoyed playing this course just as we have several times in the past.
Windy day
The wind made it tougher than it has played in the past. Great course with a couple of challenging holes. Very pristine and serene course. Beautiful scenery. Greens were fantastic and the fairways were pretty good shape as well. It has become one of my favorite tracks.
Fun Course to Play
I have played here three times in the past few weeks, and I have enjoyed it every time. There are quite a few fairway traps, and the course requires you to make accurate shots.
Tight Fairways
A few tight fairways which I like, course was in very nice condition, greens like a 10 stimp which is good, if you drive the ball straight you will like this course, good layout have to choose the right club off certain tee boxes, all around a very nice course, worth every penny.
Nice fast rolling greens and natural wildlife estuary
First time playing this course. and glad i did. As a previous review mentioned it is next to an air strip but that is all that I will agree with as his post was somewhat bitter. The facilities are humble but the staff is super friendly from register to starter to cart barn. The course is true to its name as a habitat for wildlife with some of the largest gators and hawks that i have ever seen. There are various holes that have forced carrys over marshes. The golf course greens are in excellent shape with some undulations and false fronts. The fairways in general were in good shape but there were the occasional dry spots. We got a great hot deal and would definitely play it again. best course of all the muni's in Brevard.
enjoyable preserve venue
always enjoyable with a great variety of holes, very fast greens and excellent scenery and wildlife.
Loved it. not your typical Florida course
Love courses without the houses, lived up to its name, a nature course with most holes "secluded" from one another. Fair with several open fairway shots & chances for intermediates to make par. Then the challenges, forced carries over preserve marsh areas, risk reward decisiions with water on the par 5's. Greens were in great shape not too difficult depending on where the pin was cut.
Greens are only redeeming feature, but even they had blemishes.
This place is a goat ranch. Right next door to an air strip with private aircraft flying so close overhead on their landing approach that you are afraid your ball will hit them. The course is in bad shape and appears to have never received capital investments required to maintain acceptable playing conditions. They have watering issues as some parts of the course were like a bog while others are hard pan.
Great potential
The course has a wonderful layout but lacked the finishing touches to be a real gem, like bad spots in the fairways, inconsistent bunkers & odd patches of rough.
This is one of my favorite courses.
This is one of my favorite courses. The people are always friendly, the greens are in great shape. Real natural Florida, not playing between houses. Well worth the money. Enjoy!!!
A solid test of your skill level
Designed to penalize way word shots, and reward consistency. Excellent variety, Used every club in the bag. Important to know yardages off tees and approach shots. Greens consistently quick. High handicappers will lose a few balls, low handicappers will enjoy the challenges.
Super shape
Course is in the best shape I've ever seen. Greens are fast and fairways in good shape.
Great course for the price
Some of the counter staff need a course in how to treat customers
