The Habitat Golf Course

We have played just 4 courses in this area and we like this one over the others. Very friendly staff, a fairly challenging course, and not flat like most of the terrain in this part of Florida. This course in in a nature setting and not a housing development. We will go again soon.

Barely one house visible from the course. This is a hidden gem of a muni where nature abounds. Huge birds nesting, alligators, etc, etc. Greens run true w/o any weeds. Fairways have some rough spots but what do you expect for $20 on-line twilight? I'll keep coming here albeit a 50 min drive!

Course is in good condition. Good greens and fairways are maintained.

Habitat is special because it meanders through a sanctuary without a house or building in sight! Great layout, scenery, and very peaceful setting. Makes you forget about the bad shots.

Play here several times a year and always enjoy it

Had a somewhat negative comment in Nov. The course has clearly improved since then. Tee boxes, sand traps (although wet from rain) and yardage markers all improved. Thank you to the staff. Great layout - hope your improvement strides continue.

This course is coming back around after Integrity Golf had nearly destroyed it. The amenities are still non exhistent, but the course was good. The only real drawback was that we ran into a group of 6 players out there, which is going to happen when there is no marshal. The carts also need work as both the carts in our group had zero brakes. I can deal with that if the course is good.

Weather was perfect, greens were excellent, tee boxes grass a bit high, equipment super, a good challenge over all.

Loved the look and scenery of the course. Staff was friendly, and took the time after my round to ask how I liked the course. The course is challenging. Need to hit the ball straight off the tee. You won't find your ball under a tree for a punchout. It will be lost forever in the vegetation lining the fairways. Most holes have mounded fairways. Today I hit it well off the tee but many of my lies were on the side, up slope, down slope of the mound. Really had to focus on my set up and swing to even find good contact to be in a position to get up and down. That's right, no many greenies, but the fringe and greens were well kept and receptive. Like I said, beautiful layout and scenery. Will play again when in the Space Coast area.

Greens were in good shape, some low spots in fairways. Didn’t like the “sand traps”- just dirt, not sand. Lots of challenging holes and pretty tee shots.

Really enjoyed the layout - had some design features I've never seen before. Course was fair but challenging. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely play this course again.

Course is very nice layout with many different and interesting holes. Overall course condition decent but fairways a bit choppy. Greens good but very slow...would guess they’re stimping at about 6. Lots of fun to play.

Very impressed with the greens and speed, as well as the overseeded Tees. Clearly, the folks there are making a difference and a commitment to improving.

Pro Shop and Snack bar staff very cordial as well.

Only negative concerns sand bunkers. While they look great when to look at the excellent grooming, the sand is a thin disguise of some very hard compacted subsurface. A couple of dozen bunker rakes would be nice to augment the spartan/broken inventory.

This used to be run by the county. It was sold and the new owners are not keeping up with it. There is one person at check. Don't know if they are trying to make "church pews" or not but there is plenty of grass in the sand trap. The layout is good but they are charging too much.

This is a municipal course that is up for sale. Always love playing this course. Usually not crowded at all. It’s worth the drive.
