The 18-hole Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead, Falcon's Fire Golf Club measures 7006 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 73.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are tifdwarf bermuda and the fairways are bermuda grass.
Falcon's Fire, a Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead signature masterpiece, is typically wide open, however, shot accuracy is essential. Fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence.

Decent Track But Greens Need Work
Decent course with plenty of sand if you want to work on that part of your game. Many of the greens were in rough shape due to people not repairing their ball marks. Good news is that the immediate area around the pins were rarely affected by these mini-craters. I nearly had the run of the place because the temps were in the 40's. I'd play this course again.
Overpriced
The price was not justified given the quality of the course conditions, especially since it was in season. The fairways were multicolored, meaning there were underlying soil conditions and the greens had weed spots and poor divot repairs. Will not return unless significant course upgrades occur.

Falcon's fire did not disappoint
Had a great time playing this course. This course is a great experience for all levels of golf play. Forgiving enough for those who duff the occasional shot while still providing some challenge with shots over water and pin placements.
The staff were super friendly and attentive.
I am not sure you would find a nicer course at this price point in the area.

Lots of Water and Bunkers
Played on a Sunday morning in January.Very convenient to the I4 highway. Lots of bunkers surrounding the fairways and greens, which makes it challenging. Greens were in decent condition. If you're a strong player out of the sand, you'll love it here.
Pace of play was average (about 5 hours - no marshalls), the staff were very friendly, and the driving range/putting green good.
That weekend I also played Panther Lake (top quality championship course) and Mystic Dunes (better greens, tighter driving).

Best value in Orlando
I’ve been coming to Orlando now for 20+ years in January to play golf and this is the best value I ve found.
$62 to pay a mid week round. The course has two significantly different nines The front nine is fairly easy and mostly wide open. The back nine is longer with lots of water and much more difficult. Overall, great layout. Course was in great shape except for a couple ball marks on the greens.
My only comment is, I wish they had a true set of senior tees. The white tees were a bit long at just under 6000 yards. And the ladies tees were too short at 5300. They should have a hybrid, or senior tees set in between those yardages

Decent Track
Played here on 1/7 in 40 degree weather so the pace of play was excellent as very few golfers were willing to weather the cold. Course is laid out decently and if you like sand, you’ll love it here. Plenty of fairway bunkers and green side traps to challenge your sand game. Some water but there’s enough room to navigate around the hazards. Fairways were in decent shape for January but the greens needed some work. As others have said, it looks as though months of players not repairing their ballmarks have created mini craters on the greens. To the staffs credit, most pins were placed in areas that weren’t all that affected by the pot marks but if you are shooting for the green in general, be aware you may have to move your ball for a smooth path to the cup. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I played from the white tees and as someone who shoots in the 90s, it was well suited for me. I would recommend this course to others.

Always a good choice
I enjoy playing this course, a fair test that offers opportunities if you keeping it in the fairway. Greens were very good except 1-2 and a tad faster than other course I have played here in early January. Great staff and good pace of play, I played a 4h20 round in the afternoon. If you cam get it at a good price you win.

Repair Greens
The greens need some love. It seemed that no one was repairing their divots or they didn’t know how. Many of the greens were super bouncy from the bald spots and dents on the greens surfaces.
All in all I would play there again.

Don’t pass this up
I say don’t pass this up, when you’re looking at courses to play in the area. This offers, lots of challenge and a great course layout. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. My only comment would be the use of Marshall to keep pace moving. Played late in the day and took 2 1/2 hours to play nine holes. But besides that everything was exceptional and will definitely return
