The 18-hole Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead, Falcon's Fire Golf Club measures 7006 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 73.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are tifdwarf bermuda and the fairways are bermuda grass.
Falcon's Fire, a Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead signature masterpiece, is typically wide open, however, shot accuracy is essential. Fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence.

Falcons fire
We played yesterday early 9.00am tee off time. Used putting green which had been treated so quite slow.asked the starter if greens on course were the same and he said yes and explained the price reflected that which we thought was fair and honest.we both loved the layout however the 2 ball in front of us were hitting 2 balls each off every tee which held us up a bit.we did report this to the starter who came round to check we were OK. We can see that efforts are being made to improve all areas of the course and for the price we enjoyed our round yesterday. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. We played here probably 7 years ago when it was voted best pay and play course in the area. I am sure you will get it back to those levels again and we will come back again tony scott

Seen better days
I like Falcon Fire because it is challenging and good course layout. It has hundred plus sand traps that are in pretty good shape. The fairways need help and tee boxes are mostly dirt. Greens have been aerated and sanded. The once beautiful views and plants are missing. The price is right and good carts with GPS.

Course is in a rough state
Greens/fairways/tee boxes were in very rough shape. Yes central FL hadn’t gotten rain in a while but it looks like they did not water at all. Lots of sand patches on all of the greens. Very inconsistent conditions made putting frustrating. Very rarely saw green grass anywhere. Grass was torched.

Falcon’s Fire
Falcon’s Fire is a very nice golf course. It has a challenging layout. We got a reduced green fee the other day because they had just aerated the greens a few days prior. The course is pretty browned out and desperately needs some rain. The sprinklers are helping a very little bit. I will return.

Lovely golf course
This is my 3rd time playing Falcon's Fire and it is one of my favouite courses in the Orlando area. However, when we played yesterday, there were a couple of disappointments. 1. The course is very dry due to a lack of rain. Consequently, some of the lies were very challenging. I feel prefered lies should be in place when the course is like this and if it is, the starter should let players know. 2. The greens had recently had cores removed and filled with sand. This made putting a lottery! Maybe, a discount should have been given while the greens are in this state?

Greens keeper
This course has proven to not be able to keep their grass in playing conditions. Their fairway grass was bad , tee boxes were terrible, and numerous greens were really damaged. Falcons fire lost a lot of local business because of this situation. It seems like they NEVER GOT A NEW GREENS KEEPER TO KEEP THEM OUT OF A SPIRALING HOLE. This is SAD ! The course is a decent track in a great location . Maybe FIRE the greens keeper and save the business and course. Sorry for the negativity 😕

First time at Falcons Fire
Before going to FF, I read the reviews (but after I booked the teetime). Many golfers rated the conditions poor. While O agree that the grass was pretty brown and needed attention, I didn't see a whole lot of dirt patches. Tee boxes needed some attention as well. Given this is the end of FL high season, I'm not surprised. We had fun, enjoyed the layout of the course, and would definitely go again.

Can be a quality course
All tee boxes were barre. Fairways are very dry. Greens were ok but inconsistent.

Better Options Trust Reviews
I played with my brother traveled to Orlando to meet him and we picked Falcons fire, even though some of the prior reviews about the conditions we’re not good due to the distance I had to travel to another course we decided to hit Falcons fire. The course is completely brown. The grass in the fairways are hard as a rock, and when the ball hits it runs and runs and then you lie for your second shot into the green is on matted down hard brown, dead grass. If you’re lucky on one fairway, you’ll find a little patch of grass at your bowl. May land on or you could move your ball on some grass Once upon the greens. It looked like swiss cheese, the prior teas from previous days and weeks I have never been cleaned up the greens have disease on a lot of them, especially on the front nine and I would say only on five holes maybe did you have a pure putt for Bertie? The layout of the course is fine but the conditions are terrible and for the money and the time it’s much better to play somewhere else trust the reviews that people leave I should’ve trusted what I read, but I decided to give it a shot. Lesson learned.

Falcon's Fire greens dissapoint
Anticipated playing this course for two months until my son and I could link up for it at a good time. We were out at 8:24 am. Prior to teeing off we used the range and practice green. Overall the course gives a feel driving in of an upper level course. It is well manicured, fairways, traps, tee boxes, overall facilities and etc. Unfortunately the greens were less than expected. They were slow and fairly inconsistent aside from the patchy spots not to be expected for the greens Fee. A par 5 on the back should have had a temporary green as it looked like it had alopecia. I literally couldn't tell if they were traps or not from the fairway on my second shot. I'm not sure I will go back. I'd rather pay 40-50 bucks for slightly less conditions however I expect that for that price. Seems they should pay more attention to what many consider the final "eye" and playing execution test for developing an appreciation of a course.

Disappointed
I was told before we made the tee time that the course had some improvements. The greens are in good shape but were very hard and would not hold shots hit into the greens. The course layout was fine but it was almost impossible to find any grass on any of the fairways or rough. The fairways were mostly crabgrass or other weeds and the sand traps hardly had any sand. I have played this course a number of times while visiting but this was the worse condition that I have seen it in. I doubt that I will venture back.

Too strict for what it is
The course looks like it was great in its prime, however, it seems like it hasn’t been that way for a while. Some greens need work and most tee boxes need a miracle. I understand everyone plays at their own pace but I do not understand why u had to wait in queue behind 2 other groups at MY tee time. Some of the staff members were friendly and cool, whilst others were trying to convince me there was no more tee times even though I can literally check the app and see for myself that there was indeed times. The layout is easy and as long as you don’t get stuck behind a slow group (which can happen anywhere), it’s enjoyable and for the area fairly priced. Please don’t waste your money on balls at the pro shop, it’s way overpriced.
