About
Unlike many other courses in the state, Scenic Hills Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of rolling hills. In addition to the dramatic elevation changes throughout the course, the holes are sharply framed by towering pines that line the fairways. The holes play to generous putting surfaces that provide a variety of hole placements, but its best to play to the middle of the greens since there are strategically placed bunkers guarding all of the greens. Water hazards also come into play on six holes, but they require only minimal forced carries. Scenic Hills C.C. opens with what is arguably its most challenging holes. The par-4 hole plays downhill to a green that is not only protected on both the left and right with bunkers, but there is also a steep-faced bunker that is not visible from the fairway.

Have played the course many times, but it seems to be Getting in better shape each and every time it’s a great place to play

Good place
Unfortunate that the grass had frozen. Should look to remove debris everywhere. Pace was great.
Woman-Friendly Golf Course
We loved the purple tee boxes for women! Finally, a golf course where we have SENIOR women tee boxes. This is the first course where we have found a SENIOR woman tee box that makes the golf game more equal for women playing men. Loved this course and will definitely be back when our foresome of two men and two women are playing golf.
Course was in good shape considering it is in the middle of winter. The only down side was the greens were bumpy from grass (poa annua) intrusion.
Course Maintenance?
Stop spending money on the clubhouse and the restaurant and spend the money on maintaining the course. No grass on some tee boxes, worn down cart paths and worn out areas near or around the greens. These problems have been there for years. This course could be one of the best courses in Pensacola if it were better maintained.

Fun course. With prices skyrocketing at a lot of courses, this was a great value for the money. Enjoyed playing the course. Will definitely play again!
The course is BACK!
Last summer this course suffered a lot. However, today we found it to be very much improved. Still found a few greens with small damage but I've always liked this course. They are also started planting tall grass like tiger point did. It give it a links course look.
Nice weather and golf carts.
Finished 18 and under three hours. Ran into a few slow groups, but everybody was nice. Let us play through some. Greens were an excellent condition.
Poor course condition.
What happened to your grounds keeping, it looks like no one is working with the mowers or trimmers. I was just disappointed.
Great layout / very poor condition
I’d like to say I had the pleasure of playing this course , but I can’t. The greens are in very bad shape. The bunkers have no sand and there are weeds that have overgrown all of the bunkers on the entire course. This could be a nice course and I’m sure it was at one time. It appears they don’t have a greens superintendent. If they don’t fix the condition issues, they won’t be open much longer. Very disappointing to say the least . We won’t be back.
