About
Unlike many other courses in the state, Scenic Hills Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of rolling hills. In addition to the dramatic elevation changes throughout the course, the holes are sharply framed by towering pines that line the fairways. The holes play to generous putting surfaces that provide a variety of hole placements, but its best to play to the middle of the greens since there are strategically placed bunkers guarding all of the greens. Water hazards also come into play on six holes, but they require only minimal forced carries. Scenic Hills C.C. opens with what is arguably its most challenging holes. The par-4 hole plays downhill to a green that is not only protected on both the left and right with bunkers, but there is also a steep-faced bunker that is not visible from the fairway.

All I can say is this young lady worked her butt off yesterday. She did everything. I had to give her a big tip for her efforts. I wonder if she found my long black umbrella? I turned in after 7p. Pretty sure it is a ping umbrella.
Very long fairway grass, tons of grass clippings in fairway, very hard to find ball in fairway. Quality has really gone down hill.
Traps had grass growing in them, greens unpredictable and skinned, roughs too thick.
Didn’t finish but 9 of 18 due to lightening and rain delay. No rain check issued.
SHCC review
We have played this course several times in the past year. Today the course condition was below par. Greens were topped, sand traps were not maintained and roughs were overgrown. Their mowing equipment was out of order per the staff. They should advise golfers of the green topping prior to booking tee times. Putting was completely out of the question due to over sanding. The sand bunkers were overgrown with weeds and have not been maintained adequately.
Weather
Unable to play second 9 due to weather stoppage. Lightning and severe rain.
Sad demise
Terrible shape, obviously severe lack of money. Remember when this was an excellent place to play, always in reasonable shape. Never has recovered from previous hurricane which severely damaged the creek/drainage system.
Fun Twilight Course
I have played this course a few times at Twilight. It is perfect for the pace. The cost is also a great deal. I really enjoy it and will be coming back again soon!
Mow the course!
Once upon a time, this was an excellent course. That time was very long ago. Clubhouse and restaurant are still very good, carts are new, people are great. Why they won't cut the rough and attend to the bunkers is a mystery. Irrigating fairways and greens is expensive. I get that, but simple maintenance is badly needed and would bring in more play. They just don't seem to care.
Mow the rough
It's an old course, good layout, really friendly staff. Fairways are not watered so very hard and some bare areas. Greens were in good shape and some are quite large. Main issue is the rough needs mowing badly. Can't find a ball anywhere off the fairway, which slows play..
It’s gone to crap
Course is in trash condition… they shouldn’t charge more than $20… every green is in terrible condition and rolls like carpet… go to cypress,Osceola,tanglewood … literately any course but this one.
Ok course if you don't care about condition
Greens are in bad condition. Only 2 par 5's...one of which should be a long par 4. Easy to lose se a ball in the fringe.
Goat Ranch
Paid almost $50 to play on a $25 course. Greens were terrible, many bunkers filled with grass about a foot tall, sand in some of them was mostly mud. Over 4 hrs to play 18 by myself. Seriously thought about leaving after the front 9 . Save your money ! I won’t be back
Good course when in good condition.
When the course is in good condition it’s likely a fantastic course. The layout of the course is a good challenge. When we played the greens were on poor condition.
Mr. GIR
I enjoyed my round because I was teamed up with two great guys. It was a good deal on GolfNow but I would be hard pressed to pay regular price due to the poor conditions of the greens and fairways. The clubhouse, people and pro shop were all very nice. This place just needs to be maintained with some TLC. It may be a while before I return.
